A charming story, igor's excitement at the new room is infectious. He can now
bring the mouse in with her babies, Everything seems to be turning out in his favour. I await the next chapter.

It seems as if you have you book flowing along smoothly. This a well written chapter. I didn't see anything that needed correcting.
I will be looking forward to your next installment.

I forgot how delighted Igor must be to have a home at last! And Laura gets to play Mama Hen with her little chick. To see his excitement and gratitude, you did a great job!
And the self turning on lights aren't bad either! :-)

Well as you now know, Samantha was having some fun. And why not? I'm sure being a ghost can be terribly boring! I had a Polish chef, and gave him a home, so I remember the mother hen bit well! Thank you for taking the time to review, Sue. I really appreciate it - and the six!

An interesting story of a restaurant owner setting up a tiny place for her chef to stay as he was uncomfortable at his uncle's and was sleeping on a mattress in the dry store. He is exuberant over his new place which Laura, the owner of the restaurant, has fixed up with all the necessities for his comfort. Having befriending a mouse and her babies, he plans to retrieve them in the morning to stay with him as he has hidden them safe in a box where they will not be in danger of any predators. Laura is satisfied that she has been able to rescue the accomplished chef from his dilemma and as he settles into his cozy new bed for the night he goes to turn out the bedside lights the last one turning off before his hand can reach it. Well written and a wonderful continuation of the restaurant saga!

As usual, you have managed to sum up what's going on perfectly, Lesley. These characters have been great fun to work with and have endless possibilities!

I did not find one mistake in the writing of this chapter! Very well done and the story seems worthy of further reading; I want to find out WHO turned off the lamp...

Hahahaha! Great work mate, I know how he feels about having somehwere nice to live, but he has a ghost as a flatmate, crikey! I can't wait to see what happens when he gets Nadzia in there, he should teach her to be a watchmouse and she can scare the ghost off LOL. Great stuff mate and a top quality build up to this event. Bring it on! Cheers Fez

Okay... so what is it with the lights being on when they opened the door and then the last light turning off on its own? Something strange is happening.
I still worry about Nadzia being outside.
Igor's happiness is evident after living as he has all his life.
Giving him a furnished room, even toothbrush and toothpaste, was certainly a thoughtful, generous deed.

I have actually had this experience several times when my husband and I ran a 25 bedroom castle hotel here in Scotland. I didn't know what a great sense of humour some ghosts had until I witnessed the 'light' shows. They were also great at turning the kettle on for you in the morning so you could have a cup of tea faster! Alexis x

Oh, isn't that sweet. Bless Igor who have never known such luxury in his life. Lets see what happens to the mouse and its off springs. Very well written. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I am looking forward to reading on. Ulla

Everyone seems to have enjoyed the 'feel good' factor of this chapter, and I have to admit it was fun to write. Thank you so much for the shiny six, Ulla. As you know, it means a lot. Alexis xxx

I'm always a sucker for happy endings, or beginnings and middles for that matter. Igor saving the mice shows his kindhearted character and now he can share his room with whoever he wants. Great job. :-)

Me too, Ric. I knew I wouldn't be happy until I got Igor off that dry store floor! As to Nazdia... Lol, not sure if she'll be moving in or not. Alexis x
