Thank you so much, Fez. You are such a loyal reader. I will put up another chapter very soon. I have been quite busy responding to all the reviews of a certain poem I recently posted...
C-Daddy is quite mysterious, indeed, and that continues until the end of the story, I'm afraid.
    Love that country accent!

You have this listed as general fiction; it could easily be a mystery fiction also--with the evil ones chasing a mysterious package that only the narrator knows why and what's in it. Another nice installment, though I've missed some. Great job.

Thank you, yes, I messed up, its genre is sci/fi fantasy. Thanks for pointing it out. Thanks, also, for the review. You haven't missed a whole lot. You've got the gist of what's going on.

Good job, Rhonda, with the continuation of your story line. More character development as c-daddy and Candace reveal personal info to each other. Candace commits to helping him search for Sarah. 8-)

School out for the summer?

Yes, school is out!!! Now, time to work in the garden and write. Thanks for reviewing and commenting. It's kind of hard in this venue to keep up with what happens in the story myself. Lol

a very good addition to the story, Rhonda, that C-Daddy, I hope he knows what he's doing--just a C-note on C-Daddy, he seems like he does!

A very intriguing story of a high school teacher wanting to help out the children of her high school with a donation of money given to the treasurer Sarah who has desappeared and with the help of a homeless man decides to set out on an adventure battling a group of gods called the Serpants who are trying to spread evil over the world and in the process finding the school treasurer in order to fulfill the needs of the schoolchildren. Wonderfully written with a great plot of good versus evil!

Cadence decides to run the race set before her.A chapter in the book Destiny's Angel. The Strong at Heart.' Yep, another very good chapter that you have created here, and one that seems structurally sound. Well done.

C-Daddy is definitely very interesting. It seems Cadence keeps finding things they have in common. I'm still curious what is in that package the Serpents are looking for. Good chapter and good dialog between Cadence and C-Daddy.

Thank you so much. I'm afraid you won't know what is in the mysterious package for awhile, or what they really want, but it will all tie together. Thanks for reading and commenting,
