Was Jenny off with George somewhere? I suppose I wish she could see her two friends looking so happy. Though I have a feeling their phone lines will be quite busy the next day with all the happy news!
One possible correction, and I'm not even sure....
tell her how he felt about her now (add 'that') there wasn?t two sheets of glass

As you know, this is a new ending because the original one didn't include Jack at all. I decided I shouldn't let my own experience spoil the story, so popped him in at the last minute! As you now know, I get rid of him in the new book. I'm not sure about 'that either. Lol, I always remember you telling me off for my 'thats' in the past!
I shall upload the final version of LTD on Amazon later today, so it includes all your excellent suggestions.

Thank you Joann. Your encouragement is really appreciated. Yes, the new one is well on it's way with the continuation of the girls lives, plus a couple of new characters to add extra flavour. It's very easy to pick up on because each chapter is about a separate incident at the Bedford. I can't thank you enough for the great review and very complimentary six. Both are really appreciated. I think you need to say more about how Laura got Mark and Karen together... it loses a lot this way. And I liked the other phone. The cell phone looks like a lower case L and the title is in caps. Other than that, great ending, especially for Laura, I think. :)

Don't worry, Phyllis, the build up of them getting back together is well documented leading up to the end of the book. Getting them together without an audience was all it needed. It also left a spare meal for Laura and Jack to enjoy, so all's well that ends well! Alexis xxx

As a reader, I am satisfied with this ending.

I thought I would give it a happy ending instead of leaving it up in the air. As we now know from 'A new beginning,' things can change by the time we return to any scenario. Ah, that's the way an ending should be Alexis, both Laura and Karen have their Heart's desires fulfilled and even Michelle has also had hers for her parents regaining their partner equilibrium back again. Laura has her relational dreams fulfilled also after all, and perhaps Igor too, withNadzia and offspring, well done, great and most enjoyable series, well done, my friend, good luck, blessings, Roy.
