A wonderful poem for Brooke, Sandra. I hope all the dandelion poems written for her will give her a smile and the strength to gain her power and health back. Lovely words and wishes for her, Sandra.
Smiles,
Karyn :-)

Thank you so much, Karyn. I hope she manages to plough her way through them, I am sure they will put a smile on her face. I hope they do anyway. She must be in a living hell at the moment. Thanks again, my friend. xsx Sandra

Sweet Sandra,

I was mowing down dandelions as fast as I could last morning, and thought of Brooke and how upset she'd be. I had no idea there was something wrong with her.

This is a beautiful sonnet, dear lady. You've captured that childlike sense of wonderment that is reflected in all of Brooke's poetry.

Hope you have a beautiful weekend, my friend.

Grey skies out here. :)

Hugs and love,

Sonali xxx

Thank you so much, my dear friend. It was such a shock to hear about Brooke, I just couldn't believe how quickly the illness came over her. The MS that I know of in two of my friends has taken years to get anywhere near where Brooke is at now. It is so cruel.

We had a sunny day today, I hope it will be nice tomorrow as we have Graham's two sons and their crews over for a BBQ.

    Big hugs back, my friend.

    Sandra xxxx

Another great one for Brooke, an awesome and inspiring poet. One of the best poets I've ever read. Loved this poem and ode to her. Very nice art work also.

Thank you, Amahra. I can't get over how quickly MS has taken over Brooke's life. So very sad. xsx Sandra

And what a subtle volta to this sonnet. No brutal 'but' barging in though a volta nonetheless becaus we have dealt with plants up to this point, the yelloy dandelion and he green of the clover perhaps a hint of other colours in the flower and then the synthesis, the rainbow, representative of all the colours in the world, the spectrum.

I am sure this sonnet will delight her. it is beautiful and faultless in its iambic pentameter.

What a lovely review, thank you, my friend. I do hope Brooke likes it. She has long, hard road to journey along and will need all the support and love she can get. xsx Sandra.

Oh, Dorothy, I was in a state of shock when I first learned about Brooke. This is absolutely gorgeous. She so loves writing about nature (as do you) and bringing her that beauty is the best gift ever. Hugs, Lou

Hi Lou, Guess what, I'm Sandra! LOL! Dorothy does write beautiful nature poems, I've just reviewed her latest one. Now, I am not sure who you are reviewing, but I will say you reviewed mine and thank you so much!! LOL!!! :) Sandra xsx

I'm sorry, Sandra. I haven't done this type of goof for a while. Now I'm wondering about Dorothy's poem. Is it still in my box, I wonder.

By the way, how do we add to this book for Brooke?

reply by the author on 29-May-2015
Not to worry, I've done it twice! Go to the top of my poem, and it will tell you to... Add chapter to book... or something like that. It will then take you to where you normally post a poem but it will say it is for the book. I hope that hasn't confused you too much! I am terrible and telling people how to do things. :) xx

Sorry, it's is at the bottom of my poem, not the top. You will see, 'Multi Author' above where it states, 'Add Chapter' xxxx

I'll give it a try - thank you, Sandra. By the way, I just read Dorothy's posting and jokingly called her Sandra (with an explanation, of course).

G'day Sandra. This is a beautiful and well written tribute to the great lady. It is a very sad time for us here at fanstory and it must be shattering for her family and the little bloke in particular. Keep praying mate. Cheers Fez

Thank you, my friend. It makes you realise we must live for the day, tomorrow is not guaranteed. I feel so sad for her and her family. :) Sandra xsx

The field of dandelions overcast by a rainbow is a perfect image for our dear friend Brooke. Such gifts poetically proffered: dandelions, a rainbow's gold, a clover leaf's luck, are lovingly presented complete with a hug from you. Nicely done!

Thank you, Tom. It was such a shock to learn of her horrible illness. And it happened so quickly too! It is another reason we have to live for today and not for the uncertain tomorrow. :) Sandra xsx

Sandra what a beautiful sonnet for Brooke. I hope she gets a lot of pleasure from reading all the heartfelt messages for her. Yours will definitely bring a smile to her face.

And of course it's written to perfection the couplet saying it all.

Wonderful sonnet.

Gloria
