We can only hope this is true, Yelena. MS can strike us at any age, and it is such a debilitating affliction.

Your rhyming and meter (iambic?) was lovely here, and I have no doubts that when Brooke gets around to reading all of the lovely poems written in her honor, the collective power of the healing process will begin.

Thank you for the great review, Dean. Yes, it is a debilitating affliction, and how sad that it struck Brooke of all people. But there are medications and all sorts of treatments available, and let's hope that she will pull through. The power of collective prayer and all our poems should help too. I am sure, she will be delighted at the extensive collection we gathered for her.

It is amazing to see how many people love dandelions, just like Brooke. I know I do. They bring me such good memories. I think we would all like to fill her room with bouquets of the wonderful flower.

Thank you for the great review, dear friend. It is amazing how many of these 66 poems feature dandelions, her favorite flowers. Dandelions really have many curative qualities, and they should help get her well, as well as our collective prayer.

I am amazed at each and every poem dedicated to Brooke :) Yours took my breath away. I'm out of sixes and I apologize to you for not being able to present you with one. Heavy sigh...this whole situation is troubling to deal with and we all deal with it in our own way. I would love to see her hospital room filled to the brim with dandelion bouquets! Hi Y! It's so sad what Brooke is going through. She is so beloved on this site by so many whose lives she has touched in multiple ways. And, Brooke does love dandelions. Your poem is very well written, with the meter and rhyme that Brooke so loves. A question - in the last line, should "Your" be "You're"? I'm sure Brooke will enjoy this poem very much. Sue

As far as the last line -

"Your rhyme-ordained, they'll fetch their spell"

I meant "your" [rhyme-ordained"],

not "you're"

Meaning that the dandelions, ordained by Brooke's rhyme (all the poetry written for them), will fetch their magic spell.

Brooke is surrounded by flowers, I am Cat's daffodils and your dandelions. She was so helpful to so many people. Another ghastly disease we would well be rid of. An excellent poem that should cheer her up if she gets to read it.

Brook knew how much I also love the dandelions and even let me use one of her beautiful dandelion poems in my book. I was not aware how ill she was and pray that she gets better soon and is able to come back to us.
