A lovely tribute to Brooke and very fine reference to her favorite flower/weed the dandelion, we are praying for to have a good recovery soon. I'm sure s he will love your post here.

Maybe one of the reasons the FanStory garden is so beautiful is that we can grow side by side and still be different. I suspect Brooke will love your dandy-lion love-me, love-me-not.

I have met great writers from all over the world and it's funny how close you can become to some through you poetry and comments. No action, no physical or chemical draw, just words.
thxs for stopping by and for your review.

This is a nice message for Brooke. The color choice is super. The picture is perfect. Your sentiments come through nicely in your heart felt words. Good job. I would change the spelling of dandylion to dandelion. Good job and thanks for sharing.

thxs for the spelling tip that I went back to explain why I spelt it that way and I forgot to do it. I kid Brooke about her poems on the invading weed, being that I do/did years of gardening for others, I don't have the same love for them. So hence, dandy lion.. for her benefit. I will hyphenate it. thxs for enjoying this one.

that sounds good and I would add an author note to explain a well maybe even a "read notes" in the description box

Lulube;
-Do all know this for a fact that Brooke is actually ill? Or if she just taken time off to recuperate from being run down.
-Your palm really is a tribute in many ways to a wonderful person, followed by condolences and sharing your feelings for you very loved person. Your expressions and descriptions of your love and caring for this person is written very well within your poem.
-Very good use of enjambment which is the running on of a thought and concept from one stanza and line to the next without a syntactical break.
-Thank you for sharing and posting my friend and may the good Lord be with you always.
Alex

Alex, I'm just going by what Joy Graham wrote about in her poem notes. She said she was in the hospital, but never said what for. Take a look at her poem. She has started a book for Brooke with her poem and is going to put any poem written by any of us, in it.
thxs for bringing the question up, now I will have to investigate a bit further. lol
    thxs for your review too!!!!

Hi Lulube :)
I'm sad to learn that Brooke is unwell, I surely have been missing her smooth uplifting poetry - I'd hoped she was on holiday...
The poem you wrote for her is lovely and does encapsulate some of the things that we have come to know Brooke for (her love of dandelions and her wonderful childrens poetry).
I echo your sentiments and wish Brooke a speedy recovery.
Kindest regards as always, Debra :) x

thxs for your wonderful review Debra, now you'll need to find the time to write a little senryu for her. Joy has started a book for her and she will put all that is written for Brooke in it, to be given to her later.

Joy wrote a very beautiful poem for Brooke, you must look it up. And write something for Brooke so Joy can put it in the book she has started for her with everything that is written for her.

    thxs for your review.

Aww, this is a sweet salute to Brooke :) Six foot tall dandelions. Oh dear! Good thing they have Brooke to speak kindly on their behalf lol! I'm feeling uplifted the more I read the outpouring of love shown to Brooke. She can't help but get better now!

Good plot. Easy to follow story line. Plenty of smooth flowing action. Descriptive language well used throughout this poem.

thxs for your great comments in this review. Hope you know Brooke, she is always there for anyone who wants to ask a question concerning their work. She gives great breakdowns in her reviews that get you familiar with all the technical terms for poetry writing.

Apparently she does lecture/teach in some of the courses.
