Hi John,
firstly let me say, I really love these stories of the things that light up your life... yeah your wonderful family and especially your grandchildren... would have thought you may have been upstairs to read Burt and Mango though, but I guess they may have heard that a couple of times by now, hey?... smile)))))))))).
You really did a wonderful job with such a cute result... inspiration comes from the most precious gifts.
(There) was always "Grammy, come...
or a huge request after do (it) once again was...
As I watched them that night 'chilling out' together, ...
Hey, why are you sticking your tongues out at me--what did I do?
"Awe, thanks Ryder--Aiden, how about you?"
Anything to do with children and you shine Brother!
With our thoughts we create,
the magic of our visions,
James.

Putting words into their mouths is a fun way to write, right? and that picture says it all. As always, pictures add color to a story. It helps you think and create a masterpiece as you did here. Their was always a, "Gramma- I'm not sure if "their" should be-Theirs or There. You are an awesome grandma. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy reading it.

Aww, John, that was precious! I know what you mean though, I love all my grandchildren to bits, but my goodness, there is another saying, they are lovely to have for a while, but it is lovely to hand them back! Yes, we are a little too old to take them on full time! I don't know how we survived into old age, do you? Bless them, they look gorgeous, John, and I can tell you love them to bits too! Lovely story, my friend. xsx Sandra

it is said if you just sit back and listen you will be shocked at what kids have to say and it is true what they say out of the mouth of babes

An adorable short story, John. It's always so much fun to give kids adult dialogue. They must have exhausted every second of your day if it's taken seven weeks to recover! lol
I enjoyed your story and the photo is,so cute.
Smiles,
Karyn :-)
Their(There) was always a, "Grammy, come," or "Grammy, play with me," (or)
(")Grammy, can you color with us?"
huge request after doing its(it) once was, "Poppa, pick me up
"Okay, everyone upstairs and under the covers, Poppa's going to read, Scuffy the Tugboat." (Who said this?)
"Yea!"(who said this?)

Actually seven weeks was an exaggeration. Mostly for exhaustive effect.
Thanks for reading. Hopefully we'll see them next month. John

Grand children are delightful but exhaustion they our reward for tolerating our own children. Grandchildren are gods revenge on our behalf against our own brood for the chaos they created.

Perfect! This sounds exactly like what little ones might be thinking. Thanks for sharing this delightful piece of your life. I hope you and your wife are resting up, and getting ready to enjoy those beautiful grandchildren again just as soon as possible.

He's right, you cannot hide a piece (even a small one)in a glass of milk. This is just delightful and so precious. I love the photo of them too. They are priceless.

My friend, you have an uncanny knack for writing stories that awakens the 'little kid' in all of us. Another lovely story regarding your grandkids.
