This acrostic, POETRY, delivers the message of positive poetry. I think poetry should be all things bad and good. It is the syphon that drains pent up emotions through the fingers into what inspires, tantalized, shocks, and entertains. Happy day.

I like the criteria listed for effective poetry. I try to provide insight and some hopefulness in each poem. My goal is to share my lessons, my errors, and describe some actions resulting in my growth so that if others can use them, the world can be more healthy and more appealing.

Hi there,
A fine acrostic poem you have crafted here. There have been some really good ones this time around. Good flow to the piece and the rhythm stays intact with the rhyme which can be difficult in this form.

A well written poem with a message, but I also think that there is a place for free verse as well. Free verse can capture a moment, or a place, or a feeling, which cause the reader to stop and consider what is being said, opening them to thinks that had not thought of before. Just my thoughts, even though I do like your poem.

I enjoyed your acrostic. I like your word choices for the acrostic word and the lines for each letter. Your picture is fitting. Good job with the rhyme, too. Good job with making the first letter of each line a different size than the others.

I mostly agree, although sometimes just silly thoughts can also be fun. Laughing is good medicine and an appreciation for the ridiculous is necessary or you might end up a politician. Thanks for writing and sharing, I enjoyed it very much.
