I couldn't agree more. Poetry is a wonderful way of expressing yourself, and also a way to tell a story whilst playing a pleasant tune in our heads. As you say, it can also be informative, if only by making us aware of emotions we've never thought about before.

HI I like your poem but don't agree with your notes - it must rhyme. But that's ok - we all have different opinions. I thought it a good acrostic, it held together very well and flowed till the end. Good work.

I like your final line most of all. Of course there are as many interpretations of poetry as there are poets and lovers of poetry. Lyricism and cadence covers most of the definition to be portrayed by fine, awesome imagery. I say this because I feel your lovely piece is over loaded with abstracts and generalizations. This is a short cut in the expression of poetry. Abstracts like adjectives do not really pay their dues. In poetry every line must be fine, And a fine line not need to be analyzed or defined. -Ekim777
