This is a very good acrostic, interpreting what poetry can do for people. I'm sorry this review isn't the best, but I just found out that Brooke (adewpearl) is in a nursing home with MS. I'm in a state of shock. So, so sad.

You sound just like me, I am always spouting about poetry that doesn't rhyme-I dislike it, it seems to meander and has no meaning most of the time. As for haikus, don't start me off on that subject, I may not stop! Hope you don't mind my rant, but I am so happy to have found someone else for our rhyming group- we are a dying breed. There is no reason why an acrostic poem shouldn't rhyme-you just proved it by your cleverly written acrostic. Excellent message about the advantages of good poetry, and excellent rhyming. Good luck in the contest. I hope everyone read what you wrote in the notes, I couldn't have put it better myself!! Faye

Nicely written in the acrostic form. Rule followed for the contest.
Rhyme is good and so is rhythm to make it flow.
A message to all, I love poems that rhyme because it takes a little work and understanding of the rules of rhyme.

this is an excellent write, rpsaxena, I enjoyed reading this acrostic poem about how poetry should make us feel, when I joined this website all I ever wrote was rhyme, but I was challenged to venture into the non rhymes and I can't get my rhythm back, lol. good luck in the contest.

It is an attempt at the impossible-to translate feelings of the heart.
