Love the theme. Indeed, my favorite kind of poetry is the enlightening kind. Fine flow and rhyming. Great rhyme pair of enlighten/brighten (with assonant I compounding the phonetics nicely) and fraternity and morality and positivity...nice themes.
Fine medley of P sounds with alliteration of P via poetry, positivity, peace,pleasant, poet and consonance of P with employ. Fine resonance of alliterated E with enlighten, emotions, emitting.

This is yet another interesting poem that the author has created with this piece of writing. This is so very true. Poetry can indeed lift you up to heights. It is the short version of writing that hits you hard and fast. They are stories in an extremely short version and that is why they are so powerful.

Oh hear hear, RP!!!! (though perhaps not always RHYME, as some free verse is totally spectacular!) Acrostics are really a challenge to do well, and you've pulled this one off quite delightfully!

I respect your point of view and your love for rhymed verses but I don't agree that other forms of poetry like free verses should be viewed as junk forms. For me the content is much more important than its vessel. The message is what makes the poem shines, the rhythmical patterns are merely trimmings. But I enjoyed reading your acrostic poem.
