A fun, silly read full of alliterative flourish. Maybe you should team-up your puffins with Phylis' penguins. That would be one heck of a song. Congrats on the win. Maybe I'll start feeding the robins threaded bobbins of string cheese.

Very cute :) Congratulations on winning yet another contest. You are an excellent poet to learn from and enjoy. Love all your rhymes and near rhyme combos. I especially get a chuckle out of flexible, mixable, Mexican. great use out of the required words that felt quite natural. You're really on a roll lately.

you make me smile, dear lady :) my daughter and her husband just got back from Hawaii. They went to Oahu. Said they'd like to try a quieter Island next time. I told them about your place. Shoulda listened to me, huh?

Ha, ha, oh this is so much, and so inventive. What a great way to use the words in the contest. This was an original way to use such a variety of words that, until you put them together seem to have nothing in common. What a great poem, and a very well deserved win.

I am glad I chose to read it. It is almost magical what you did with the words given and the Mexican muffins!

It makes you wonder what must go through some animals minds when they are locked in cages in zoos. I really enjoyed the rhyme in this piece, visionary, your writing flowed well and I could certainly see why it won the contest, congratulations. Thanks for sharing...Jacob

Congratulation! You deserved the win. You have used the specified words so well that the poem flows smoothly. You are a wordsmith.

The picture was cute and very like I want to take them home and pet them like the cat in Austin Powers. I love how you highlighted each word

Hi Sharyn - great poem and a worthy winner. And how efficient are you to highlight those necessary words that had to be included in the poem. You certainly saved me having to check and re-check to see if they were all present and correct. You did remarkably well with what I think was quite a difficult mix of words. But then, having reading your other work, I am, figuratively speaking, in the presence of someone who has poetry flowing freely through her veins. Warm regards Dorothy xx

You lazy so-and-so Sharyn. Telling me you have too much time on your hands today, then you go on to say you had someone else do your housework. Tut! LOL. Good for you. Dxx

That was brilliant, my friend, and a worthy winner. Huge congratulations, I missed the voting, so sorry. I had trouble to start with when I tried to read it aloud and fast, what a tongue twister that was! LOL, it was really funny. Well done, Sharyn! xsx Sandra
