'my dream is self that is dying'-aptly said because where there is ego ,the light from will be blocked and the true experience of God can not be achieved.
Very good poem of faith and belief.

The spiritual bond of love connects the believer to his deity. The strength of his faith keeps him on the right path. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.

Virtual six, instead! Beautiful presentation of a well penned poem. "My heart song, God's love, My dream and Faith binds" wonderful way to start each stanza... Loved your inspirational Christian poem. Thanks for sharing and keep 'em coming, Deb

Dear Roy, I love this poem. It reads like an old fashioned hymn, which I happen to love. I like the rhyme scheme that you used. It made the poem very easy to read and relate to. I am with you. "Faith does bind it all together." Great job, Shirley

Very exceptional work here. It would take me hours to write something like this. Such flowing verse, and colorful pictures you paint. I like the picture you chose for this fine poem. I'm so glad this site was discovered by both of us.
The only problem is that one gets addicted to it and wants to sit and watch the sun rise with no sleep.
Sincerely,

"God's Love is like a mountain,
the view is broad and wide,
But growth is in the valley,
where faith and wisdom bide!"
Wonderful poetry, my friend. Very inspiring, Roy. Bob

I like that - the heartsong is my Savior and the heartbeat is my purpose, vision, & dream planned by God.
I've never thought of faith having eyes though.
Nicely written poem with good flow. Blessings, LaVonne

I am not religious, but there's nothing wrong with faith if it gives you comfort. No, I don't follow your belief that you've expressed in your poem. But it's still a good poem, even to someone like me. It has depth, feeling and rhythm that's pretty hard to argue with. Best wishes.

We have a battle with the hard learned habit of I can do it myself, the thought that you are somehow not a man if you ask for help. There are many things in this world that are beyond mankind's ability to change or fix. Therefore man must humble himself to bend his knees and approach his God and ask for His assistance, he must then exhibit the necessary faith to not only believe that he will receive the requested help but that it is worth waiting for when it does not immediately come.

Oh for a six.
Absolutely wonderful.
The last stanza pulls it together and binds the piece with God's love.
We are standing in His grace, and through that we know he exists...in pure faith.
Very nicely done
