I'm just quietly working my way through the list.

Belated congratulations. A good tale of horror you have written here in your own style.

Well that's one way to treat an adulterer, a terrible claustrophobic death. Interesting and unusual...

Thanks, Mel. I had some...personal issues going on at the time I wrote this particular Tiny Tale. Call it...wishful thinking, heh-heh.
Much obliged for the review. :) ~Dean

As always, you blast the reader in the face with the most gut wrenching ending imaginable. Don't cheaters know they rarely come out good in the end?

I'm sorry I missed this one when it came out. Job and personal stuff created a hectic May for me. However, I'm thrilled (get the pun) to found this. The first place prize was well deserved.

Thanks for checking it out, Muffins. At least you didn't have to read 1,500 words or better to reach the climax, right, LOL?
I very much appreciate your review, my friend. :) ~Dean

Congratulations Dean! Scary story and 100 words as required. Who doesn't fear to be buried while still alive? It is too horrible to hold in my mind. I remember a story from when I was a little girl. It was about a man who buried his wife facing down so she was digging the wrong way. Enough to make you go insane.

Holy...I'll have to remember that, Gypsy. That sounds like something that could be worked with a bit. Thanks for reading, and for the congrats as well. I sincerely appreciate it. :)

This was a good tale of terror...
Creative and well written...
One of the best of the many entries...
I found the story a spine chilling horror of being buried alive...
Revenge reared its ugly head...
Best wishes in the contest...
I'd guess this story will rank high and maybe even declared as the winner.

Yeah I agree, Karma is a *** and payback hell. Great story. This is something you could build a whole book around, full of suspense and fear and love and lust. Great reading.

It can be, Sharon... a bit_h, I mean. But only of we allow it to be, right? I hadn't thought about making this story into something longer, but thanks for letting me know you'd be interested in reading it if I did.
I appreciate your feedback, and thanks again for the review. :)

Gives a whole new meaning to death do us part. I found it very dark, twisted and creepy all at once. The tone was perfect and it definitely delivered an OMG ending. I loved it..

Well, my friend, Jack. If you found the story to be dark and creepy, then I have done my "job" correctly and fulfilled the contests requirements. I'm really happy to hear that! :)

Thanks for another great flash story, and best of wishes in the contest. I'm sure this one will be added to the book. Oh, right, I'm not supposed to know who wrote this. Sorry. LOL Great job. :-)

Heh-heh, nope, we're as blind as Ray Charles in an eclipse when it comes to these contests, my friend. At least, we're supposed to be. I may or may not be who you think I am, I am not at liberty to say at this time. However, I do appreciate you time spent reviewing, and your encouragement as well.

ugh - a horror indeed - to be buried
alive - I think this has to be a winner
for what could anyone come up with that's
more frightening than this - good luck to you.

Thanks, my dear friend. It's one of the things that haunts me in my dreams quite frequetly, for some reason. I often write about what scares me most. I think that comes across to the readers when you can do so.

Thanks again for your review. ~Me

Excellent Flash Fiction. It certainly brought out the terror of being buried alive. I think that would be a horrible way to die. I did not see any problems and you did a great job.

Thank you, Okiegal. I tried to make it as straight forward as I possibly could, while making it not gory or bloody, but claustrophobic and as scary as possible. Hopefully, I've succeeded.

As a self-proclaimed claustrophobic, your story was horrific enough but then the picture for it added to the crawling of my skin. I need to go outdoors and breathe fresh air after that one. Good job.

Thanks, mommerry. If that's true, then I've fulfilled the contest administrator's request to terrify people in 100 short words, and I did exactly what I set out to do. At least I did something right today, LOL.
Thanks very much for your encouraging comments. They're greatly appreciated. ~ Anon
