Oh no Deidre didn't!!!! I want to see Patsy's reaction when she learns what third party mandate means.
On another note, Patsy could adopt Nadzia and still have someone to talk to. :-)

I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Sue. There are always low lights looking to scam people like Patsy out of their money, Deirdre being just one example. Lol, yes, I'm sure Patsy and Nazdia would get on well! Alexis xxx

The additional short chapter was sort of like icing a cake, gave me a few additional ideas on what to look forward to tomorrow, that is if I can ever get caught up from my neglectful period this past weekend. Great job. :-)

I had to find a way of keeping Patsy in the frame after her holiday, so the next chapter does exactly that. I'm so glad you enjoyed this sneak preview! Alexis x

I'm glad I introduced Patsy into the 'mix.' I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with her, but she has tons of potential! The next chapter, as you now know, answers a few more questions. Alexis xxx

Sounds as if Deidre was planning a scam to get ignorant Patsy's money. How lucky for her to have learned about laptops and now has friends to help her. Your two new characters are fleshed out and have endeared themselves to this reader.

I think I could write a whole book on Patsy alone! She will be playing quite a big part, but I mustn't let her take over! Alexis x

Maybe the girls will help Patsy meet some new people. She sounds like she needs to explore life and have fun. :) This was short but definitely another great chapter. :) I need to get my butt in gear & write. I've had such a peaceful vacation & came back to a pile of work waiting for me on my desk. The real world always stays busy.

She is interesting, isn't she. What I worry about is that her story takes over the whole book! I think we'll have to leave her dangling for a couple of chapters and get back to the girls! I'm so glad you had a good time, and yes, it's horrid to have to go back to work, but at least you must have a week full of lovely memories to keep you going. Alexis xxx

Thank you Adrian. Yes, I did mean 'bought' because Patsy had paid for the holiday at the hotel, and learning about the internet was the icing on the cake! Yes, Laura is based on me because I am a widow, and I have run a hotel. Boy, does that give you a plethora of stories to incorporate! Alexis x
