Luke is such a boob - I love the exchange here with the police - neither one gets what the other one is saying - but it all works out.
Intrigued to find out what Lenny can do for him.

Thanks for reading, Nancy. :)

A good chapter that moves along very well. The posting gets us wondering how he'll get to Blake. A good lead in to the next chapter.
Thanks!

I couldn't but laugh at Luke. He's such a fool. This post had a lot of serious humor in it. You did a good job of writing it. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Thanks a million for the Saturday sixer, Barbara. :)

Man, Lucifer is a dummy. Wouldn't it make sense to know the ins and outs of how NOT to bribe a City Hall Clerk? The clueless arrogance he displays in his interaction with the Police Officer is hilarious. I can't see him being successful on this adventure.

Thanks, Muffins. Well, what else would you expect from Luke? :)

This is such a SCREAM! I swear I see this on a stage or in a movie. You could have various mega-stars doing cameos as Luke's host bodies. I'm not too far behind for a change. On to the next chapter. mikey

Comment from Gloria ....
to accept him and would be strong and have guns. LOL. That's always my requirement in a man too.
Crunch, what a perfect name for the crusher in the picture.
Uh oh, Lucifer isn't too pleased when he's embarrassed by not knowing something he shoulda known. The little narcissist.
Ha, this detective seems to have a problem with names. That's hilarious. Blaise.
I like the tone of this chapter. It's a little different and I also look forward to what's behind the unmarked door.
Very nicely written, Phyllis.

Thanks, Gloria. I agree... great qualities in a man, just like my hubby. He hits the bullseye every time in practice, so I feel pretty safe. :)

A well written chapter. It always concerns me how after many, many centuries Luke is so simple minded. I know he is comic relief but as a character he is static. Is that his purpose?

Thanks so much. Yep, he never changes. That's the mark of an insane or brain-damaged person... or a really stupid angel. :)

Alex/Luke is likely to draw more attention to himself. Will Blaise be able to recognize him as Luke if she sees him. Could be trouble.

Thanks, Alan. No, she won't know Alex is really Luke, not right away, at least. :)

It's really strange trying to imagine Luke needing to find information from a human. We are conditioned to believing he can enter a weak human brain and knows everything that's going on, so you really have to bin that idea to get your head around an uniformed 'normal' person.
Getting there, but slowly!

Thanks, Alexis. Luke just uses the body. Alex's mind is asleep while he's possessed, so neither is aware of the other. Only one mind at a time may be active, or the body would fall over from different commands.

Of course, I hope that I'm never close to Luke or directed to his domain, but you give me reason every day to think that I might just be able to take over the place. LOL. Thanks for another fun chapter. :-)

LOL! I'm sure it would be better managed, and evil in the world would increase three-fold. :) Thanks for a fun review that made me smile.
