Again the notes are essential to the meaning. I prefer to absorb my poetry from a paper page or rarely an LCD display, but readings I encourage as part of the process. An excellent pep talk.

Read your author notes which gave me a better understanding; and I think it's a fear of being accepted which gives stage frght to those who doubt themselves. Practice makes for easier nerves. All the different poets you mention show it's a sharing experience. I think we're all poets at heart. Enjoyed the flow and topic. Les

I have to say, when I read your piece the words resonated within me one way. When I went to watch you recite, the experience was completely different. I see different images in this poem. The writers varied pictures tell me of
his views about poets, how they go about in their own respective trades.
He uses figures of speech that are admirable. I saw pretty well what he was saying. Congratulations.
