Hey, Mike, Still doing my best to figure so much out on this ground that traveling to the other is a struggle. I see this as lies or masks, really. "preaching better than thou in every rented breath's release " says to me that one is hiding him/herself.

Hi there,

A great poem here packed with foreboding and fantastic imagery. The subject matter is thoroughly latched upon and wrung out. Emotional and stark.

Great write.

This is an unusual poem. I see it as a statement that people may be tricked into believing one thing that is not true. The Six66 is a reference to the devil.

I see no changes. Good job. I agree evil breeds evil.

Amen....right...? yes....it were this and many other poems I've written were birthed from......exceedingly wickedness of them whom preach His love and shove His treasure in the earth for pleasure. How can you believe in God...believe you are umm....redeemed ....and be in life His exact opposite. you don't-....love bug

wow, this one was well done, i like the reference's to the anticrist and how the innocent will no doubt suffer, no errors noted in this.

Oh but weeds to flower beautifully. Evidently you haven't seen many weeds in your lifetime to think that all weeds are just ugly. Weeds are part and partial of why we have oxygen to breathe. This is a well written poem, even if I think it is full of nonsense. I don't have to agree with what is written to know that it is written well... John

I always love your unique showers of metaphors Michael - though this one's particularly dark for you - but darkly beautiful. I don't pretend to fully understand it, but sometimes just letting the images wash over me is a better approach.

Some say that good always triumph over evil, but if you look around in the world today, it simply is not true. This is very well done.
Take care.

the archangel waits impatiently for the unleashing of righteous justice...and so shall it go...just as He's promised....-headnod-.....yes....I used to think the waiting was for the wicked to repent...and rightly so....but their are others...just like the Pharasee ....whom in group deceit secretly and openly hate....the Authority of God if it infringes on their own perceived....they'd first try and kill Him...-wink-....they are reprobate....and I now believe He allows it so that we....understand....some....just wont come. here....hold this example....when I first met the only man I ever called Pastor...He ....loved me.....would come get get me if didn't show...and I didn't you know...after that first time....but there he was....knocking on my dam door....not with a 'group" of 'support"...lol...-headshake-...crazy old man....just him...dying.....how could I say no.....on ah Thursday evenings we would go for bible study at his home.....I would always greet him with a kiss on the cheek....I'd read it...where Paul says we should greet each other with a holy kiss....and I loved him....some laughed at me for doing that.....thought it kind of queerish....

here...have another....sometimes....a lot of times...at alter call...I would go.......um...-headshake-....it was like if I was moved to...and didn't I'd be denying Him.....and I knew.....I knew...in comparison of ...in...thought and deed toward His treasure was...ahh...-headshake- wow...way far away.....I just felt compelled. One imperticular would laugh openly at me another asked why I did it.....I told that son of satan the same thing I told you. the question is...why are we waiting. I mean we are to be the miracle workers now right.....ah I'm tired....good day....love bug-

Hey Michael *hugs* - "preaching better than thou in every rented breath's release" - many great lines here, but his one seems to really drive the insidious 'wolf in sheep's clothing'. love it. great job! -MM

G'day mate. Crikey you write some heavy duty stuff. Indeed weeds can infiltrate our lives and destroy the good plants. Like many of your pieces that I have read this one gives much food for thought. Well done mate, cheers Fez

Hi Michael,
yes my friend, your first line captures the decline in good and the propagation of self-seeding evil.

Once again your strong use of metaphors to drive your message shines and reverberates an echoing need to be observant in our daily need of bread... no hood-winking, no faux fleece, just you doing what you do so effectively... 'preaching better than thou in every rented breath's release'.

Magic composition... always out there fighting the good fight with you brother... choose you battles well!

Better to live on our feet, than die on our knees.

With our thoughts we create,
the essence of our light,
James.
