Natural catastrophe occurs in various parts of the earth, especially when that occurs in Venice a great part of disaster is in account. Completely destroying the architectural beauty that Venice had. But the poet also looks to the other corner of beauty of architecture preserved in Birmingham.
Oceanic destruction of architecture is mentioned by the Poet as the great tragic event of architecture. Therefore, the beach never understands what humans try to emulate.
However the poet is concerned about the architectural beauty destroyed by natural calamities especially by the Ocean. Could this poem widely read by architectural lovers.

Nice picture that illustrates the poem well. Good accounting of Venice. Action flows well and story line easy to follow. Write on.

I love this poem.......In all honesty Ive never been a huge fan of poetry that promoted a "cause".....not because I found the "cause" unworthy....I just felt that in the attempt to promote the cause the poet often lost the lyrical beauty of the piece and it ended up reading ( at least for me ) more like a magazine article than a poem. I did not sense that with your poem....it was beautifuly written also it felt more like you were just stating a fact ( about the peril that Venice faces ) more than rallying a cry to save it. Nice job!
