Hi, Pat...
It is so difficult to watch someone love/care about on a collision course.
Watching my son self-destruct was something that unless you've been down that road, is indescribable. Had I not then, as I do now, believe He helped me through it I don't know as I would have had the strength to get through it.
My son has chosen his path, sadly, the wrong one.
Great poem, my friend. With His help, we can survive, as well as help others.

Beautiful prayer, stemming from a compassionate heart. The tone is genuine, heartfelt, humble and prayerful, and thus touching. So sorry that you've had people you've known take such a tragic choice. i am fortunate that no one close to me has done that, though a childhood best friend (from camp) did try to once--and failed, thankfully. Now, she's stronger for it and ended up a phenomenally compassionate and strong woman. She home schools her kids and is a therapist too.
Ironically, suffering is the best fertilizer for growing compassion.
May your sweet prayer be fulfilled on all levels.

Thanks Rami for the lovely review. I have had in my past times when I considered taking my life, but my faith always stopped me and I had some compassionate people who came by my side and encouraged me.
