A very important message. I was very suicidal 15 years ago with numerous attempts. No one helped. My family disowned me and my friends disappeared. Thank you for sharing this. It is a subject people don't want to talk about, but needs to be brought out in the open~Debbie

Thanks for the review and I am so sorry people did not stand with you at those difficult times in your life.
I myself have been suicidal several times and have had people around me who cared and helped me. For that I am grateful.

This was the greatest poem on earth, I am so sorry I am out of sixes. Yes, I am trying to live by the same motto, to give and care, giving is such a joy! And you are right, we can be so wrapped up in our own feelings we can overlook the suffering of one close to us. This poem is a warning.
What are these adorable birds? I love the crowns on their heads. So fitting for this poem, I don't believe u recognize the breed.

Patricia this is a lovely prayer written as free verse. Thoughtful and caring. It reminded me somewhat of the Prayer 'Make me an instrument of your Peace' attributed to St Francis. Interesting author notes, how suicides of people you have known inspired you to write these words. You draw to our attention the need to be careful not to be too wrapped up in our own affairs so as not to be aware of the troubles of others. Warm regards Dorothy x
