Oh, boy, I thought everything was going to turn out fine for Blaze and Theo. What a shocker at the end of the chapter to learn that Theo didn't realize that Blaze was a fallen angel.

Oops! Theo now knows he has a "devil-angel" on his hands. He shouldn't be too concerned with a priest in the room. Remember the old song, "Devil or angel, please make up your mind?" Great chapter, Phyllis.

I must have missed a chapter. I'll back up and read it. I do have one suggestion:
'
'as if pretending not to be there.' seems a bit redundant to me. Have a good Sunday, my friend~Debbie

Lord love us, is that picture photoshopped? It gave me quite the start.

And so because I read the chapters out of order I see Theo is still in the dark about who the "other" sweet lil angel erm demon is.

Ha, didn't take too long to figure out it was his wife. LOL.

Yea, I'd say living in Hell for a few eons would change a person just a wee bit.

It sounds like Blaze and Theo are going to be having some good times in the bedroom. Don't ask me where that thought came from, but there you have it.

Top form as always Phyllis and rather interesting for me reading them in this order.

Thanks, Gloria. Good to know the story works in both directions. LOL! Yes, the pic is photoshopped, but NOT the expression. I had to remove his beard and mustache.

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

The focus Theo absorbing the information about Blaze. The storyline development Theo is trying to absorb the fact that Blaze is a real angel. He asks Gary how long it took him to accept the knowledge of what Tara had been. Everything is going fine until Blaze mentions Lucifer. An Theo says not a fallen angel, not a demon from hell.
The dialog is clear and paints a mental picture of the characters as they speak. The narration shows the action Theo almost in tears, Blaze and Tara's laughter about Lucifer.
The hook is Theo going to be able to understand how Blaze found herself in hell?
The emotions I felt joy in the way Theo was accepting the information. Fear that the one thing Theo won't accept is an ex-demon.
Keep on writing.

Phyllis, a gray day that is cold the kind of cold that works its way to the bone. *J* Rita

I love how Theo reacts when he hears that Blaze is an angel. But his attitude starts to change when Tara and Blaze start talking about Lucifer. He's such a fun person to reminisce about spending time with, after all. Theo begins to see the fallen angel, the demon from hell. Will he accept Blaze after all, the way Theo did Tara? Excellent dialogue to have it all come out. I love the look of surprise the guy in the picture is showing. judi

Now, the rest of the story. I like the description of Luke as a "Bumbling idiot." Oh so true. I wonder what Theo will think when he hears how Blaze got in Hell.

Thank you so much, Barbara. He may understand it was not her fault, but still worry, because of what he said earlier to Gary:

?From what I heard, that was some past. No offense, Tara, but after hearing your story, I imagine it was a lot harder to deal with. I can?t speak for Gary, but I think I?d always wonder about the time you spent with the Devil in Hell, the things you? had to do. I don?t mean to criticize. I just mean it sounds like some scary stuff.?

Hi Phyllis. Whew, I was so relieved as I read, that Theo was happy to be married to an angel. Then whammo!! He was on the wrong track. She's been down in hell. He's not happy. What's he going to do next??
A good hook at the end Phyllis.

cheers
Annette

Hi Phyllis,

Great descriptive paragraph showing Theo's shock. I know it's just me, but I'm getting confused. Sort of like the comedy routine of who's on third and what's on second. I think my brain will wrap around all this with the next posting.

Hugs,
Lou

I'm sure once Theo realizes Blaze wasn't a real demon, he'll be fine. I'm surprised Luke was dumb enough to let her out of Hell where God could find her. He must really be a 'bumbling idiot.'
