The picture is awesome. Good use of rhyme. The flow from line to line and verse to verse is really good.
I like the way your poem invites the reader into the thinking of the author as he makes decisions and wonders if they are the right ones.

Well, the fact that you can conjure up such emotional feelings of love and romance after forty years of marriage says a great deal about your relationship, one would think.
A well written poem which conveys some very tender emotions.

Thank you. Selfishness and greed cause most to skip what is one of the most magical parts of the whole wedding process. If I am already enjoying all the physical benefits of marriage why should i rush into making the commitment?
