Yum! I just love cherries. Like how you refer to them as 'gemstones' Read your author notes, and I see how a daily experience leads to a poem. I have my mind ready to pick up on any idea which I see you did in your case. Very nicely written. Les

Yes, Les, not only did the cherries at the market surprised me, but that I composed a poem before I ate one. Always have your mind ready to pick up on any idea.

Oh my goodness. You have them already? I can't wait. I especially love those Mount Washington cherries. I think that is the name. Those almost white ones. Yum, yum.

Two things surprised me today. The appearance of the first cherries and that I would compose a poem about them before I ate the first one. I love the Raniers and may compose a poem about those when they arrive. Thanks for your review.

Didn't even eat them yet? Something to look forward to.

I love cherries. I grew up in France with cherry blossoms in about seventy-five trees about our house and couldn't wait to climb them after the fruit appeared. Of course, my impatience caused some tartness in my eager grabbing, but, when they finally ripened, i had to be ripped of the branches. Great...John

Excellent, 5-7-5. A very good contest piece, nothing could work better when creating a Sunday. Always needs a cherry on top.to make it right on. Well done, Bro.

This 5-7-5 captures well the sheer delight on discovering these first 'delicious gemstones ' of the cherry season - especially precious since the season for these beauties is so brief
