This is well written and clearly with deep belief and emotion. I completely respect your right to say and post what you want, but do you ever write about anything else? You are such a good writer, I would love to read something that doesn't quote the Bible every time. Please, don't misunderstand, I do not have anything against the Bible, I just would like to read something from you that is original.

Not offended in the least and thank you for reading and commenting. I do seek clarification however...do you mean something original in the spiritual realm, like a story of faith or just something original in any genre? I have written a lot of what I hoped to be humorous pieces as a perusal of my portfolio would reveal. I do feel there is much confusion about spiritual teaching, even from the Bible, so I try to show my reasoning is based on the revelation of the scriptures. Thanks again, Dennis

Either would be nice. I have nothing against reading something spiritual, also in any genre would be fine too.

"Many are called, but few are chosen." Each of us have the right to our own belief system. That right is extended to explaining that system. This is very well written.

Thank you so much...someone once said about the formal church, "Many are cold, but few are frozen." :) Dennis

Truer words were never written. Separation from God is a scarey thought for me but those that don't know him could care less. Why would they miss something they never had? Great job.

It's true, blind people don't fear the cliff but God's Word is so clear and plain, each is responsible before Him to respond to His Word if faith. God bless and thanks for commenting. Dennis

Hi Deniz, this is a wonderfully penned essay about spirtual belief, using many quotes from the bible it comes across as a suggestion rather than a lecture, really enjoyed reading it my friend.

Thank you Eric1, it is certainly an invitation to find our all in all in the scriptural Christ. Sadly, many seek truth in other than Him who is the truth. God bless you, Dennis

My Fellow Preacher Friend,
Once again my heart is full to overflowing with your word, i.e God's Word of Truth and fellowship.

I was espc. moved by this statement :

"So Christ died, rejected by men who hated His goodness and rejected by God who hated our sin which was upon him."

I wonder how many PROfessing Believers understand that.

As I was reading this I kept thinking about Paul's admonition in Ephesians 4:14 "...be no more children tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine
by the slight of men and cunning craftiness whereby they lie in wait to deceive."

Please pray for my sweet daughter-in-law who was taken to the hospital yesterday with a stroke, unable to talk or raise her right arm. She is getting better but has a long ways to go. She and our son are strong believers in the Lord and have told their small children that God has a good reason for allowing this. Her name is Mary and our son's name is Scott. They are very active in the work of the Lord, our son being the Praise and worship Pastor of the church Thank you very much!!

"And this is the victory...even our faith" -I Jn.5:4

    Dear Jerry,
So sorry to hear of Mary's affliction which I'm sure, affects all of her loved ones as well. Will pray for her and all of you. Though we've never met in the flesh, I feel our brotherhood in Christ very strongly. Mary is blessed by your faith which has radiated out to her, her husband Scott and all of your family. Christ will use all of this for the good of many and the glorification of God.
Thank you for your words of encouragement...I put some finances into this one in an effort to get it before more people. Some will ignore, some will read and not comment, still others will read and comment. Please pray it may be used further...it at least reached one damaged soul who testified to being helped. Amazingly, there has been no negative feed back so far! Glory to God! If folks could just get a glimpse of the real Jesus, fears, doubts and animosity would melt like the snow on a warm day. Love you brother, may God continue to bless your ministry! We shall claim the promise of fruitfulness even in old age...amen? YBIC, Dennis

You must have been tuning into me last Saturday. Jesus's tormented cry about being forsaken has always puzzled me. Hubby said the Jesus was showing his human side. Separation from God. The two ideas together make sense to me.

Yes, the agony in the garden before the cross was accounted for by His anticipation of His first ever separation from His Father. He did this for us out of the purest love...God bless, Dennis

Powerful words! This writing resonated with me since I am healing from being in bondage from "strange teachings." (I have a poem in my portfolio explaining my journey). Thank you for sharing such beautiful, powerful, and hopeful words! God bless :)

I just read your journey poem and my heart goes out to you. I can only say, Jesus is about forgiveness and a brand new heart. Don't let anything keep you from experiencing His assuring, loving words. Because have used His Word and His authority incorrectly, many lives are damaged. But His healing touch and His word of power changes everything. Romans 8 has often been called the Christians "pillow"...I assure you, it is not worn out or lost its comfort for hurting Christians! 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all?how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died?more than that, who was raised to life?is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:
    ?For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.?

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God bless you, sweet sister, Dennis

THIS MADE ME CRY!!! My oldest daughter (now 23) began singing this in church at the age of 4. This song means the world to me and I REALLY needed to hear it today! THANK YOU SO MUCH :)

I love the fact that Jesus says, "no one can come to the Father, but through me" John 6:44, and "outside of me you can do nothing" John 15:5. What a beautiful reassurance for what we believe, "casting all you care upon Him, He cares for you" oh joy he is on the throne! Loved your work today, my brother, keep up the good work, blessings, Roy.

Hi,
Very good message
but given our times,
I don't think many are
listening. I pray that they do
Because HE really is
the only answer.
Are you the Denniz that
has the radio program?

    Hi Deniz,
Actually I have never hear your radio show.
I was talking to GE Parson from this site.
He is the one that told me about you.
He is a pastor. He wrote a piece about Angels
that I reviewed. I told him about just one of several encounters that I have had. I told him that my whole family exists because my Gram obeyed a prophecy telling her to go from LA to Seattle during the depression in mid March living on $10.00 a month living in a friend's garage. She went in the bedroom packed a pillowcase and said OK LORD how do I get there. A lady truck driver knocked on the door asked if anyone wanted to ride up to Seattle. My Gram said I do. They left in a Model A Ford went through infamous Donner's Pass( a wagon train got stuck there the people ate the dead to survive ) when my Gram got to my mother was shocked to see her. My mom was pregnant with my sister. My mom lived on a sheep ranch. There wasn't any phone, or electricity. They had a wood stove and an outhouse. My Gram had to stay some place else. When my mom went into labor they sent word for the doctor and my Gram. She walked in the door just as the doc was about to take my sister out in pieces. He had given my mom 23 cans of ether. My Dad counted them when he buried them. My Gram saw that the doc was drunk and what he was going to do. She got mad and threw him bodily out of the room. She told my mom start praying in the Spirit because your going to have this baby right now. My sister was born with Yellow Jaundice and live into her 70's my mom live to be 94. That doc killed a bunch of women and their babies He was tarred feathered and run out of town on a rail. My mom's in sides were badly torn up. However, the LORD healed her and made her insides like that of an 18yr girl when she had me at 35. I was the youngest of three. My sister was the oldest if she and my mom had died no one in my family would exist today from the oldest to the newest. Where does your radio show broadcast? Does it go out to California? What is the station #? Is it possible to get it on the net? If so what time, when, and where?
    Best regards,
    K River

What an amazing story! God is so good to us all and shows Himself strong on the behalf of all who listen and trust Him! Thanks for telling me this...wow! My radio program is a daily 5 minute local show...we pretty much are confined to Mass. God bless you! Dennis
