The title of your story is an eye catcher; made me want to read it... Clever, indeed! Meaning resonates within me. My daughter at 22 still as questions... lots of them... Loved the way this began and ended, Deb

I how I loved reading this. My favorite part is his reply at the end when mom ask why he is so messy. If that was my child all I could do is smile. ð???

Bless him, this is a lovely story, and so true. My sons were like that, and now they have the job of coming up with smart answers for their kids! LOL. Children love to know about everything, which is wonderful. This was a great little story, and it was my pleasure to read it. :) Sandra xsx

Ha ha ha - out of the mouths of babes. My kids are grown now, but this certainly brought back memories. I love your spunky little character, Max. It really shows how smart the kiddies are. Hugs, Lou

A very cheerful and heart warming story. Love all the questions being asked. I remember as a kid I did the same. Curiosity shows an interest which means a great desire to appreciate everything. The boyish dialogue was fun to read, and the answers Mommy gave was inventive. Well crafted. Les

Hi, Irish Cute little story here of course. Good thing you were able to dodge the sex question at least temporarily. LOL Good images throughout:

"He took a gulp of his crumb-speckled milk and smiled with a white mustache.

Suggestions: We're boff five." (correct)

Erma Bombeck would be proud of you. Bob

Mom lucked out. He didn't get into the endless how-come? cycle. The story is a fine slice of life, with nicely edited text. Maybe not a breathless thriller, but very
easy reading.

It is good for a child to be inquisitive and ask a lot of questions, but a Mum can get tired finding the answers. Cute story with well written dialogue, good descriptions and good touch of humour. Most enjoyable. Faye

This is the kind of story that makes me smile, and brings back memories of when my fella was that age (he's nearly 20 now!!!). I love your use of dialogue. I think that in a story of this length, the almost-exclusive use of dialogue to move the story forward is quite effective. It relays the information in an engaging way, and propels the story forward.
