I'm glad to say you got a (small) upfront payment if they accepted your article, then you got paid a modest amount per thousand views. Sadly, they've stopped doing it now, but it was fun, and fairly lucrative while it lasted! Alexis xxx

Sorry to have got behind here. I see noting wrong besides a few small corrections, near the end of the chapter:
full-time job - hyphen
Jacques' name - move the ' again.
staring at the empty screen, (comma)
Michael . . . with his fingers, (comma) after
He stood up to let her get on with it (comma)
I will read THE END with interest!

It was from all the 9.95 memberships people bought on her friendship sites around the world after the story of why she'd set them up was highlighted by the red swimsuit story. I had to find a way for those ladies to buy the Bedford, so, as you now know, that's what they do. Alexis xxx

Well caught, my friend. Everyone else missed it. As to the half million. You didn't think I wouldn't let the girls get the hotel did you? I don't find the names confusing at all since one is French. If Jack is jealous, she doesn't need him. He loved the idea that he alone made her happy. Dump him, I say. Whew, all this talk about franchise and such has me thinking-way too much work! Enjoyed your notes. Both you and Laura are lucky. :-)

Nancy said the same, so I'll stop fretting about it. Yes, the Yahoo contributor deal was a real eye-opener, and fairly lucrative. Sadly they stopped doing it, so I'm back to writing books! Alexis x
