I loved and appreciated your letter. I will still be connected to FanStory throughout Easter; I am completely addicted.

I have made a start on my letter to atheists -- probably over half-way, in fact. I'm thoroughly enjoying writing it. But I'm also in serious need of more funny money to promote it properly (the eternal FS dilemma).

Now, to justify my accepting your 52 cents, here is a typo I spotted!:

'and I'm doubly sure no*-one* will be interested'

How do you feel about homosexual marriage? That subject is sure to come up on some of the other 'athiest' accusations. Consider adding 'God dictated love' to your essay. Just for the known controversy.

I don't have the slightest problem with homosexual Marriage, and I think it is great that the UK legalised it some time ago. I have the impression, too, that support for it amongst heterosexual people is quite widespread.

Yes, and mine. It is legal in all of Canada. But this prompt is sure to call gays perverts and atheists. I walked into US politics, though I'm not from the US, and only offer up gay rights as a potential paragraph in your essay.

Yes, I'm sorry, I forgot to respond to that part of your previous message. In fact, I have not included detailed examination of any moral issues in my essay, which I have now finished. It's not that sort of essay, really. This may well be a shortcoming, I don't know. Anyway, you will be able to judge for yourself when it is posted, and I look forward to receiving your review. I should have garnered enough funny money to promote it by next Wednesday, or so.

I was thinking: I'd no idea she was 80!!! The POV is so authentic it felt real. But then I saw your notes and it says fiction. This conveys a lot of theme and sub-themes. Excellent subtle satire too--delivered with loving-kindness and humor.

Thanks. The letter is a piece of fiction meant to make people think about lonely people who enjoy FS as a pastime and a way to connect. But your words are sincere and both Millie and I appreciate your kind heart.
