Great job with your descriptive details, Teresa. I could so see this flight attendant going through the motions of her job, not happy at all to be there. Good job of showing the irony of their motto, "Fly the friendly skies." 8-)

Teresa: I hate flying, am scared out of my wits, actually. But, I have flown twice. The first time from Detroit to Washington, D.C. and the second from Flint to NYC. I observed the same as you . . . the flight attendants, who should be gracious, kind, helpful and reassuring, rarely smile and acted like they would rather be anywhere but where they were. What happened, I wonder? Nice writing on this subject. Linda
