Ingrid, this is one of the best stories I have read in many years. It is, to me, a "classic." The end, yes, the end, carried a lot of weight in my desire to be one good writer. I had told you before that I and my wife for 40 years, when she had still that capability of bearing a child, we searched for a solution to have a child to no avail. Now you brought again to me sacred memories of my past.

I rate your story 6 stars possibly for more stars but that's all we have for the limit. I have nothing left for this week.

You, tied your story to a project mission to explore the possibility of living (perhaps) in Mars or elsewhere in the universe. Your imagination was beyond the realm of an creative mind as an ordinary writer. Your expressions are revealing of your creative artistry and intelligence...I admire you for that.

I am miles away trailing behind... trying to explore the possibility of what you are and what have...a writer of the first degree, but I am far behind barking at the moon, yet hoping that somehow with this age that I have still would be able to attain something...a writer--a dreamer who never was and who will never be able to attain a dream. Ingrid, I still remember how you did excellently my write-up of the bitterness I had with the losing of my wife at the hospital, I can never thank you enough for that. Thanks for sharing. Dom

Dom, good writing is not just technical knowledge, but the ability to reach invisible readers and stir their emotions. You've done that many times.

We all strive to be the best we can. Thanks for your very kind words and continual support. I'm glad I touched your heart, but sorry I made you melancholy.

Thank you, Ingrid. It is nice to be reminded once in a while of the past.
They are spices that make our lives nobler and better. Though I want to improve my knowledge in writing, and make others cry and laugh, and dance and sing, it's just too bad, I'm marching closer to my destiny. But even as I say this, Ingrid, I'll keep reading and writing I'll go out into the world one day, and scan your writings. You can feel my presence, if indeed, there is a soul of a man after death. I hope this will make you laugh! Cheers, my lady! As ever, Dom

I read this in two parts. read part 4 first unfortunately, and then worked backwards. you are to be admired for this. It is creative and credible. everyone loves a love story and This is a tender love story.

The sisters are interesting as they relate and comfort.

How does a mother give up her child? too difficult for me to fathom.

The reality is that those who go up in 2024 will die there on Mars; is that what you are saying?

If I had posted this in its entirety, it would have been too long for most readers, and I can only hope they're read in order. The Mars One Mission is a real project and the facts regarding the launch are true. 24 people will get a one-way ticket. There is no provision for them to return.\How does a mother give up a child? How ...It comes down to if her answer was no, the incubator would have been turned off. Interesting philosophical choice. Thanks for reading.

GULP You caught me most unaware. I thought, boring, boring, boring. Hit the skip button. But you drew me in. I was upset with myself because I thought Susan was doing nothing about her dreams only following his; then I realized I was actually caring for the characters (nah) not me (yep). Then the bombshell, then so quickly - ended. Very well composed and a very well thought out plot line. Thank you for your wonderful art of storytelling

I do hope you read all four segments. You will absolutely love HATING part one, as it relates the initial love story, but it quickly accelerates to a more complex plot. I have posted all 4 segments in one post, but the 4 are paying better when reviewed separately. Thanks very much for your read and honest feedback.
