Well, my friend, I think this was cruel, I don't believe
it should've been used that way.
I'm from South America, we have no April fools, instead
we have Innocents Day and play a joke but not cruel nor
offensive.

This was fun. Your paragraph formatting isn't right. The required FanStory format is for single-spaced lines with double-spacing at the end of every paragraph. So in this piece you need to insert a blank line after 'I had never heard of.' and 'they did not know.'

Three typos (* *=insert; [ ]=delete):

'[Year] *A year* ago I was so fooled by the nurses in my ward'

'he had some kind of [-it is] *-itis*: an infection that I had never heard of'

Only when I had the phone in my hand to give the Medical Registrar/Consultant [to give him] a mouthful (You have 'to give' twice).

I have been caught many times with very ridiculous tricks on April Fool's day. i can never a day that my husband called me and told me he was coming home jut to drop off some fruit and turn around . He was busy so I should come to meet him at the gate to avoid him having to come inside. I hustled change and get outside where i waited for almost half an hour only to discover it was 1st April.
