Blaze feels like she's ready to burst. Right beneath the surface it feels like this might be getting to her. She's just a little short with Franny and a little over confident about her prospects like she's trying to pump herself up to believe it. Sounds like a trip to Heaven is in the offing for Blaze. Should be enlightening. Coolness. mikey

Lots of good messages in your dialogue with Franny. Blaze has her own ideas on
the value of telling the absolute truth in all cases.
Will Franny take her on a tour of Heaven??

Thanks so much, Nancy. Yes, Blaze will see Heaven with Franny. Ginger did the same thing, but it seems readers are expecting it, so why not? It's fun. :)

Blaze had the great luck of finding two men with similar looks. She is right no one will suspect Theo isn't the father. But, can she and will she keep this secret without sharing it with the real father? That is something I can't wait to find out.

Thanks, Vergie. She will never tell Sebastian he's the father, or even let him know she's pregnant... at least not till he's safely in jail. :)

This is a good post to wrap up loose ends, review the facts and expose the reader to Blaze's thoughts and reasoning. I agree with your view of the ninth commandment.

Thanks, Carolyn. I'm glad you agree. We all tell little helpful lies to protect our friends' egos from hurt. People don't really want the truth about some things, because what they say is correct in many cases: the truth hurts. :)

I've know people to tell truths for the very sake of harming others or ruining reputations.

Exactly! Maybe "Mind your own business" should be a commandment. :)

There were several hundred commandments given with the ten, but only those ten were focused on by the church...thank God.

HUndreds wouldn't have fit on a pair of stones. Did Moses add them verbally?

That's another of those famous parts of old testament stories that don't add up. There were rules about food, about how to plant seeds, about what clothes to wear, on and on and on...

Okay, is Blaze going to wear white to her wedding? LOL I wonder what Theo would say if he knew who the father is? Or what Sebastian would think? Can't wait.

Thanks, Shirley. The men will never know about the baby's origins. If Sebastian were to suspect, he'd probably disappear for real. I'm sure he's not the type to fight for custody of another baby he started in the world. He probably has fathers lots of kids in his selfish, greedy life. He's not likely to want to be a daddy to any of them. :)

Hi Phyllis,

That's very realistic dialogue for Blaze, even though she may be changing. Franny's personality seems to be changing as well. I think you're giving her a bit of a comical edge.

Hugs,
Lou

Thanks, Lou. Franny had a bit of that edge in the last book, and I don't want her to come off as too preachy. :)

Good evening Phyllis. :) What the fuck are you doing in my closet? Ha! Just kidding, I'm sleeping on the couch tonight thanks to dean and his scary post about a closet.

Anyways, I'm sorry I swore at you. Geez this is working out just fine for me.

LOL, in the fridge? My goodness woman, your imagination and humour are brilliant.

All excellent points on truth and bad motivations. It's a tough call, the truth, but the good news is, we have a wedding to go to on Monday.

Super job, you.

Gloria

PS: Sorry again about the swearing.

LOL! You may swear at me any time if you do it with a sixer. Thanks so much my crazy friend... which is the only kind worth having. :)

Another theology discussion -this time on lying. LOL Who can't relate to that. Skillful work with Frannie's warnings-foreshadowing? This keeps the reader on edge. Do we have to wait nine months until the baby is born? :-)

Thanks, Shari. No, you don't have to wait for the baby. :)

That's a tough decision. Of course you never tell someone they look fat on that outfit or that their food is gross, but it's been my experience that the big secrets have a way of coming out. It may be better to tell the child the truth than risk him finding out later.

AT this point, I have to agree with Blaze. But having caused Sebastian to disappear is still a mark against her. I am wondering if she will have to fix that to keep in God's good graces. Great chapter that got me thinking. I look forward to the wedding.

Thanks so much, Sasha. I'm glad it made you think. Rules are great guidelines, but you need to use your own good judgment in how to apply them. And yes, she will need to turn the senator back into his normal appearance. :)
