My stomach hurts from laughing! I thought Karen was still in town, so was wondering exactly WHO was having a great time in there!! (Told you I'm a bit slow on the uptake, but I'm rarely bored, as I try to sort things out!!) For her to sound so rapturous is funny for everyone concerned.... Mark thinks she's getting busy, the couple think she's a cheating skank and Karen is oblivious to it all.... how she'd love to know that her side job had produced such an effect!!!!

I almost wish the chapter ended with Karen hearing the car start up, looking out the window to see who it was, and putting two and two together.... wouldn't she have the best laugh? :-)

She finds out eventually, but I wanted her to be oblivious for the moment! So glad you had a good laugh, Sue. You deserve one! Alexis xxx

Lol, I know the feeling. If I'm not reviewing so I can afford to post, I'm writing or rewriting all bloody day. I got out for lunch with a pal yesterday I hadn't seen for ten years, but I was late because I insisted on posting my daily chapter before I left. How sad is that? You know how much I love sixers, Fez. Thank you! Alexis x

Great detail summing up all the triumphs of the night - you make it clear that all her work pleased all the guests, which in turn pleased her and made her proud of herself - a fun scene in your closing, and you indicate well how Mark is regretting his actions in the past

Karen did well to pull it off. A few reviewers are actually beginning to feel sorry for Mark, so I may have to cut him some slack! Alexis x

Karen was having an orgasm more tumultuous than any she'd ever had with him. -Oh my word. I laughed so hard!!!:-D :-P

I LOVE that Mark is left standing alone in the driveway wondering about what he heard. LOL. Poetic!!

I also loved the part where her knickers were 'flapping in the wind' so to speak. What a visual it gave. :-P

Lol, yes, I thought I better address the underwear issue because that's certainly not something the Salvation Army can help her out with! A little bit more payback for Mark is too hard to resist, I'm afraid. Let's just call it poetic justice! Alexis x

I almost feel sorry for Mark, even tho he's getting what he deserves. Not only did the buyer scream and run, he thinks Karen has someone better than him. I was a little worried when he showed up unexpectedly and the house was perfect.

You're the second reviewer to say that, and there's a bit of me that has to agree. You might be surprised by a revelation from Karen's daughter in a future chapter! Alexis x

Hell hath no fury, lol! Another brilliant chapter, happy endings for all the characters apart from Mark and the house hunters. Karen's character is really coming to the fore in this chapter and the restaurant scene is excellent too as well as the house scene. Well done, Alexis! Pete :)

It's all going well for now, but there are a few problems ahead. Time to batten down the hatches! Thank you for your reviews, I look forward to them. Alexis x

LOL! I love what Mark and the buyers found! LOL! THat's one way to kill a sale. Or, to MAKE a sale, depending on your situation. Nicely done, ALexis. I'm so glad the dinner was a success. :)

It seems Karen may be destined to keep this house. That seemed to really bother Mark. I am sure he will think about that for a long time. Good thing he didn't fling the doors open. That would have really been embarrassing! Nice little twist to the end of this chapter.

Not necessarily. There are a few problems coming up that nearly take at least two of the women back to square one. Karen's house is beautiful, and under normal circumstances, won't be on the market for long. Only time will tell! Alexis x

Another hilarious scene. Way to go, Karen, and I expect she didn't know Mark was showing the house. I take it his ex-wife was working the chat line.

You bet she didn't! He's not to know she's just performing for a punter, but I must admit, it was very satisfying writing the scene because he didn't. Thank you so much for your continued reviews. I really appreciate them. Alexis x
