Oh, you really love your cliff hangers. I guess that's part of the charm. One day you will have to write the prequel that shows the rebels fight and exodus from Heaven. Good work.

Thanks so much. Yes, I admit I put in cliff hangers to torment readers and make them return. LOL! :)

She must be human. That's the only thing she could be, isn't it? I can imagine how confused the poor priest must be. I can't figure out how Blaze ended up in Hell. It wouldn't make sense to have a main character with no hope, so she must not have deserved to be there. In that case, how many like her might there be in Hell?

Thanks, Cindy. Just the two friends, Blaze and Ginger. They were friends in Heaven. Lucifer tricked Ginger into going wiht him just to "see" his new place. We still don't know why Blaze ended up there. She isn't human, but a fallen angel aka a demon, possessing a human body. Blaze is immortal, unlike humans. But Tara IS a real human. God made her one when he gave her a new body. She may return to being an angel when she dies, or be a soul in Heaven. Depends on how she behaves on Earth in her new life. Blaze? We still don't know what God has in mind, but we can guess what Lucifer has in mind if he finds out what she's been up to! :)

Well that was a close call for Blaze! She is safe now - the priest would not kill an innocent child to send her back to hell. But the lie about the father - hmm I wonder if that can be over looked.

Thank you so much, Maria. ONLY Blaze and Theo know that he isn't the real father. No one else can find out... unless they had to do some medical work on the child, and that's not going to happen in this story. Will they ever tell the truth? We'll see. :)

Great cliff-hanger! I'm beginning to feel hope for Blaze, where I felt little before. Father Murphy is so solid, and knows exactly what to say and do, although the very thought of helping a demon must scare the proverbial out of him. I can't wait to read on!

HI Phyllis. That was an interesting chapter. Blaze is still telling lies to Tara and the Priest about the baby's father. The priest took a chance handing her a Bible. So, the baby is protecting her while it is in the womb, but what will happen when it leaves her body.

Thanks, Annette. Hopefully by the time the baby is born, she'll no longer need its protection. :)

Yes, she is a liar, and acted on her jealousy in a terrible way... poor Sebastian. But humans have those same flaws. At least she can undo the damage to the Senator.

Brilliant, Phyllis. I just love the way your creative imagination weaves this tale with precision. I never would've guessed the Priest would attempt to exorcise the demon, but now that I think of it, it makes complete sense. LOL.

What a convoluted world to have to work through for Father Murphy with likeable demons and shared history. I get a real charge from Blaze's reaction to him. So it looks like the baby is protecting her.

Verrrry interesting.

Oh, my dear, sweeeeet, glorrrrious Gloria. Let me grab you for a big squashy hug. You can't breathe? Well, now you know how I feel. But seriously, I can't thank you enough for a six on Thursday night. I will treasure it, perhaps even print it out and frame it... or at least hang it on the fridge with my crayon drawings. I'm soooo glad you liked this chapter. It was a tricky one to write. There are two more parts to the scene with Fr. M. and then we'll see what Franny is up to. :)

i hope her lying about who the father is doesn't trip her up.
As far as her passing the test - how can she be a demon and
not suffer the usual consequences. Perhaps she is changing gradually and the demon part of her is fading - but there is still the thing she did to the senator.
Looking forward to you straightening it all out.(lol) Nancy

Thanks so much, Nancy. Theo and Blaze are the ONLY two who know he isn't the father, and they aren't about to tell. The reason she is passing the tests is the baby. It's protecting her. Yes, she IS guilty of lies and much worse. What she did to the senator will have to be undone so he can go to jail and serve his sentence.

Oh dear, I forgot where Blaze got her body. Now I'm assuming it was someone who died? To think of the risk to Blaze when she handled the holy items! And Father Murphy was willing to take the chance. I eagerly await the next chapter. Excellent flow of dialogue here.

Thanks, Shari. The body is one that Luke found passed out in an alley, drug overdose. She died in the Hell Hospital and just as the soul left Blaze jumped in. So the body is all hers.

The one thing is , he can 't or ,more likely, marry her and Theo.
The test passing with the religious artifacts was a good tactic to prove Blaze is not a hardcore Demon. However, putting doubt into it by having Father Murphy say the baby is probably protecting plants questions for the ready. The interaction showcase not only Father Murphy trust in Tara but his wanting to trust Blaze as well ,

Thanks, Muffins. You're right. He cannot marry them in the church, but... you'll see in the next chapter. :)

Oh, OH, What is it? Theo? He is still thinking Theo should be forewarned. This is going to get complicated before he is done Questioning everyone. Will Theo admit he is not the father?
Here we go again! LOL Good Job Phyllis. Nancy

Thanks so much, Nancy. This book is much more complicated than the last one, and near the end, something verrrry unusual will happen that has never been done before... not in this series, anyway. It should be a HUGE surprise and will make the ending exciting. :)
