This one was very well written. Enjoyed reading this one. Talk about an over zealous priest. Glad Tara got in with the last remark.

Father sure have experience in dealing with both the good people and the demons. I'll bet his eyes popped out of his head when Tara told of the baby. LOL

Great Chapter.

LOL! I can just see the old priest with his eyes popped out! LOL! He's heard it all. But just wait till the end of the book, when he actually GOES to Hell with Tara and Theo. No hint why, and don't tell. :)

Thank you so much for the six stars, Vergie. I'm glad you're enjoying this wild story. :)

Wowzers!

The plot really thickens!

Fabulous hook at the end.

Gotta love that dear old Father ...

So glad I haven't used up all my sixes, Phyllis.

Thanks a million for the precious sixer on a Thursday, Sonali. So glad you liked the post. Most complications to come, but they'll all be dealt with. :)

Hmmm, she does not need to take the sulfur pill ( which probably tastes worse than the fish oil pill I take every morning)? So the baby is giving her an aura of protection. It means a lot to me that you are open to my off-the-cuff suggestions.

Now I see why Father Murphy is worried. Theo can't marry a Demon. At least now the Priest knows the score. Maybe Blaze will go ahead and marry Theo before the Priest tells him the truth. A secret wedding in the Registry Office. But what about the baby...

I wonder how Blaze did end up in Hell. She doesn't seem much like a demon. If Luke could fool her, then perhaps there are more like her. Is it possible Luke has a big problem when his enemies find out? And what will Father Murphy say about a pregnant demon? Can't wait to find out.

Thanks so much, Cindy. The old priest will be confused until he hears the whole, long, messy story. :)

A great chapter - I've a feeling
the Father is going to warn Theo
just who/what Blaze is - now will
Blaze stand by and let him, I'm wondering.

One minor thing: How does he FOLD his hands?
I've never heard that before.

Thanks so much, Margaret. HOw odd that over there you don't use the expression "fold your hands" since it's the only way I know to say it. What do you say instead when a person locks his hands together? Clasps? All thru the early grades of school I remember my teachers saying, "Sit up straight and fold your hands." I just assumed it was universal English.

    clasped his hands together
    clenched - clutched -

You ought to try folded. It's what we all say over here. You can surprise and delight your friends with a new expression! :)

    I think I'll do that. M

What's it like over there - we've had a spring-like day with the sun shining and all the daffodils opening up - so lovely - but it's just turned 5pm and turned chill. The weather's so changeable. M

And you may reference the Oxford Dictionary. Oxford is in England after all.

    www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/us/definition/english/fold_1
Idioms. to put one of your arms over the other one and hold them against your body He stood watching her with his arms folded across his chest. to bring or hold your hands together She kept her hands folded in her lap.

Not to mention, in a yoga lotus position we fold our legs. I wonder what other body parts can be folded. LOL! :)

The snow is finally melting! It's about noon here, and the temp is supposed to be 53F. We skipped the forties completely! Went straight to the fifties from the teens and twenties. What an odd start to March.

No sign of my daffodils yet. But they should pop up any day now. Yay! Spring at last. Muddy dog tracks in the kitchen. Weeds in every flower bed. Rain and more rain. Hmm... there's something to be said for three months of snow cover after all. :)

Poor Father Murphy.I hope he hasn't collapse after that last statement.

This chapter showcases, again, the strong sister bond Tara and Blaze have. I don't see anyone or anything breaking their friendship. Tara is Blaze's anchor. When Blaze got up in a panic about the pills, Tara brought her back to her senses.

I hope Father Murphy does not tell Theo. Theo is a nice guy, but knowing that he has feeling for a demon may knock him off his feet.

Thanks so much, Muffins. How can any priest NOT tell his parishioner that his fiancee is a demon?

this is great. I love that Tara is the one who reveals all to Father Murphy, down to the news that Blaze is carrying Theo's child. She emphasizes that Blaze hasn't been a part of the evil that Luke gets his demons to carry out--that she's been a secretary and that he assignment isn't to kill anyone. Tara shows that she really believes in Blaze's basic goodness. Father Murphy will surely find this quite a surprise. A sign in Blaze's favor is that she doesn't need the medicine that was supposed to protect a demon in the church. If Father Murphy and Franny saw Tara through, maybe they can do the same for Blaze. judi

Thanks so much, Judi. It's the baby that makes the real difference here, not how harmless Blaze was in Hell or anywhere else.
