Hi Barbara:)
More great dialog as the mystery deepens. Who is the spy on the Rockin' A?
Jim still won'teveal his inerest in the ranccn or exactly who he is..
Soni's gut feelings seem accurate so what's going o?
Marilyn and I are still in the hospital, so reviews are rare, but I still have plenty of love and Irish zhugs for you lovely ladies.

I am enjoying Soni, she is a wonderfully built character. Jim is rough and ready, very entertaining. The character building is splendid and the story line, intriguing. Wonderful job.
Great read, waiting on the next, Julie

While it's true that you don't redefine your characters or give us a list of names and descriptions of roles, there is a lot of virtue in the story itself. Based just on what I see and read here, there is a love/hate relationship between Soni and Jim that leans more towards love. The dogs, Goliath and Butkus are adorable "nannies". Very interesting and easy to follow.

There was a good use of dialogue in this piece, Barbara. The dialogue between Soni and Jim was well written and beleivable. The transition between he scenes was also clear and well devised. I couldn't find anything to critique. An excellent piece...Jacob

Another well presented chapter, moving the
story along, Barbara....
the only thing I'd question - if I may is this last sentence -- "who" or "where" doesn't seem to fit since you started with "Something!
"Something isn't right, but I don't know who or where."
"Something isn't right, but I don't know quite what

Nice chapter, a hint of romance and ending it on a note of excitement, danger, and a threat from instinct. Like the role the dogs are playing also

Tight writing. Refined prose. A joy to read. Energetic. Words pop off screen. Crisp. Great dialogue between Jim and Soni drew me into the story. I found no spags. I enjoyed reading the details of how you assembled this chapter. Description. action, and dialogue all come together to move the story forward to a cliffhanger. Thank you for sharing.

Chapter 37 of the book Texas Dream Catcher Soni and Jim continue their trip to the ranch. "Chapter Trece; Part Tres"
This is just as excellent a chapter as I have read from your novel time and again. Very well done.

Soni is right! Sometimes it is best to trust your gut feeling. Instinct may defy logic, but it usually turns out to be the right thing. Be safe than sorry. No spags spotted int this well written chapter. Handy hunting dogs who are well trained, too.

Soni harbors a lot of mistrust, and I still haven't quite figured out if Jim is the nice person you've led us to believe, or actually compiling information to use against Soni. The only question that I've ever had during the reading of this book or your last one is, why in the world would Soni and Jim take a helicopter in the beginning, rather than travel all that way on horse back? There are other ways to bring Midnight back. Thanks for another fine chapter. :-)
