What a unique advice column with three different answers to the problems to add perspective and depth to the issues. It sounds like a wonderful idea. I wish you lots of success in you endeavor.

The first question is quite uncommon to many but it's important to me.
In the first question regarding publishing of the book after four years it shows me similar condition in publishing the debut poetry book:Whispering Windows,in which I have changed the name of the characters,concentrating not on theif they read or not for they are not close to me now,still I support Cynic line someday the lines in the book will bring me closer and make them laugh in that Humour poetry.
In the second case too I support Cynic reply why because dating in internt is easy but risky one is easily vulnerable to exposure,so need cautions having like minded if one in trap then must follow to be away from Sexully Transmitted Diseases
In the third query,same episode is happening to my life,I again follow Cynic lines-one must do the best satisfying own or satisfying mother or father whatever s/he likes,else the home will be like hell.It's time to have patience for peace in home.

We are all part of a circle, most doing the best we can, afraid to let go. Sometimes we need to bury our tears in the laps of strangers and occasionally we need to remind ourselves to laugh. Good luck with your book. Sincere thanks for the bouquet of stars.

You had a good mix of questions and the responses. I don't know whether its that the questions don't beg for much variety in response, but I feel the three of you respond in pretty much the same way.

Maybe we all are blessed with common sense, but not every one is.

Seems to me the husband can sue if it pleases him, but he won't win if she can demonstrate the truth of what she has written - you can't just sue someone for writing unfavorable things about you unless you can show they're lies and that the writer knows they're lies and intended the libel
I'm less convinced than the columnists are that the fact the writer has published the book can be kept secret
My one nephew met his wife on a dating site twenty years ago, and my daughter met my son-in-law on one ten years ago, and they've been married for six - of course one can have bad experiences - but hell, millions of people have had bad dating experiences when no site was involved LOL
My grandson had his beginnings in two parents who met online, so I say, it ain't all bad LOL
I like the balanced replies to the adult child with the elderly mom - advising the writer to keep being attentive and compassionate is certainly the only moral and loving option, but acknowledging how difficult this can be is reassuring :-) Brooke

We are no different in our advice than anyone else. We had time to chew on the questions and put our best thoughts in print.
