I had to come looking for this having missed it when it came out initially. This is ready to go now I think. The responses are varied, but all worthy of attention. Good choice of topics this issue. These are all "hit home" subjects considering your audience here. I read every word of this with great interest. I'll miss this when it's gone, but it is ready for the next step. Great work. mikey

Thanks. This is 'across the fence chatter' anyone might find in their own neighbourhood. The difference being, most people won't ask a question about themselves. It's always a friend of a friend of mine.
In the nature of exploring new genres and opportunities, a little newspaper journalism was fun. Who knows? Maybe we'll start posting HOW-TO instruction manuals next. Thanks for the interest.

Very good answers today from all of you. Interesting questions too. I have something to add about the book. No one can win a libel suit without proving damage, physical or financial. There's no way a judge would believe a successful lawyer was financially damaged by a book where the names and places were all changed.

Very good answers today from all of you. Interesting questions too. I have something to add about the book. No one can win a libel suit without proving damage, physical or financial. What a pleasant surprise from the dated FS postings and reviews. I love the multi perspectives from the three Amigas, their wit and intelligence in tackling the questions. These are frequent issues we face in life. You have brought in a whiff of fresh air to FS. Well done.

So the poor old ex is going to take a beating in the book is he? Good point about the book being memoir or fiction. I'd go with fiction and then he can't sue, can he?

LOL, I love the cynic's response. Damn straight if you put in that much time and effort the book should be given room to earn interest. Another laugh with the "tragic" event your novel becomes a best-seller. All the cynic's points are bang on.
I'm kinda of the view if you don't want anyone to know your secrets you're best not to write them down.

Oh boy that is a tough one with the senior woman entering the retirement home. They can get pretty nasty and say and do things they shouldn't.

Best wishes with your project Amigas. I think it has great potential. I'm most interested to see where you go with it and which media you choose. I think YouTube would work really well.

How do you put a column on UTUBE? Thought it was all videos. Guess you can tell I'm out of the techno loop, but do tell. That would be very coo. Is it possible?

I'm pretty sure you can put voice only on YouTube but you'd want some kind of visuals. But the visuals could be whatever you wanted it to be. If I were you three I would be in "character". But, I don't want to speak too soon, because I don't know what your tone is. If it's very serious then that's a whole different thing.

I read some of the reviews and am bothered by those who say this doesn't belong on the site. If one doesn't feel it belongs, then don't read it. Move on to the next... I don't like sci-fi or horror. I don't trash those writers. I don't read them. Simple, case closed.
I've enjoyed them, but I understand your plan and wish you three all the best.

I'm sure everyone has a separate set of rules for what they perceive constitutes FS. I'm with you, I skip what I don't enjoy. My first love was always journalism, but it's time to move on. We'll have a couple more, then call it quits. Thanks for reading.

I do hope this column leads somewhere for 'The Tres Amigas', as, I for one have enjoyed what you and your two friends have attempted and successfully achieved... not a new concept, but one that I'm sure is ready to come back in a big way... maybe it's your time to shine, Doctor Cynic?
Well, we still have a couple of weeks to go, so I will enjoy the tid-bits while it's here... otherwise, I may have to try to find out where who has been smart enough to hire... The Cynic, The hooker and The Librarian... can't go broader than that... and one would possibly question if this is just three personalities of the same entity... smile))))))))... yeah, I know better!

Definitely not three personalities of one writer, but I suppose that's a possibility if my companions drift away. Some folks are not enamoured with these columns, but I am going to try to find a home for this stuff. Hugs.

The Librarian can not be identified, and it wouldn't help, she's not on FS. The first column February 8th contained questions that I sort of filched from another advice column, but rewrote them. All others are coming from members. Now, I have no idea if they are creative writing or real, but they were all submitted.
