A very informative as well as entertaining article. I'm really impressed with the amount of albums that he actually put out. Typically, you think of Roy Acuff, you the think Opry. I guess though, unlike today, it took an entertainer of exception to be invited to the Opry. A well written piece that was very good.

How about doing some writes on:
Earl Scruggs, Lester Flat, Bill Monroe,Sony Osborne, Bill Keith
Allen Munde, Doug Dillard, Carl Jackson, etc.
I enjoyed the background information.

This was very interesting. I didn't know who Roy Acuff was. I have never heard of someone having a nervous breakdown from over sun exposure. It does sound like he had a full career and lots of success.

Another well composed and cleverly compiled and conceived biography of someone who was obviously well thought of and his standing was as an icon of country music. He lived a little bit longer than Hank Williams. Beautifully and eloquently scribed and a thorough delight to read, well done, Brett, blessings, Roy.

It is an interesting piece of Biographical Non-Fiction having impressive wording and smooth flow.
There is too much repetition of 'Roy Acuff'. If it is used only at the turning points of his story and at all other places 'He/he' in place of 'Roy Acuff', it will look far better. I think so.

First and foremost, there's no life to this write. It's a collection of facts, as if copied from Wikipedia or some other source. Biography is intended to bring the subject to life.
Also, sentence structure. Early on, you start five sentences in a row with "Roy Acuff..." This adds to the notion that this is more of a list than a biography.
