I love that Jenny is plucking up the courage to come clean with George. I can identify with her weariness and not wanting to carry on the charade anymore.
It must be exhausting for her.

I'm going to look closer for any s.p.a.g. in the morning when I have my coffee.

To be honest, I'm still not sure about George, so I thought I would let my time away with a pal in France to decide. No rush, and a great excuse to have a beak from the internet! See you soon.

Thank you, Pearl. I think couple of weeks in the French countryside is just what's needed. It's so tranquil there, I look forward to embellishing the 50+ chapters I've already posted, and finalising the next 20,000 words. I cant wait to come back a new woman (whatever that means!) Alexis x

I have that happen all the time, where I go to cancel something and it is too late, they charged me again. It is so frustrating! I don't blame her for being leary about the dating site. I would be too. What a nice surprise from George, for Jenny. A little R&R would be good for her, as she has been working hard. It seems like George would understand about the site, but will have to wait to find out. Have a nice trip.

Off to France. I envy you and you're taking all three girls with you. I can relate to being charged for an extra month because I didn't give enough notice to cancel. Wouldn't it be ironic if Laura meets the man of her dreams in March.

Only mildly, but it's the way of life I love. Wood burners, good (cheap) wine, and a beautiful countryside around the farmhouse. Perfect for writing! See you in a couple of weeks. Alexis x

Perfect timing, wc. 70,000 words in, and another 20,000 written, I need the peace and quiet of France, one of my good mates, and the odd glass of decent wine to decide on the ending. Can't wait!
