A good Chapter. I will never get over how dumb Luke is or how weak. Why doesn't Blaze just take over Hell and then do whatever she wants? Well done.

LOL! Thanks so much. In Hell, Luke has all the power, since he has demons there loyal to him. Besides, his robo-suit gives him super strength so he could throw her in the pit if she tried anything. Or he could have four demons carry her to the pit. When Beez was elected by rebels in Hell in the last book, Luke punished him for a year by keeping him right across from a lava pit in a small room... his version of a jail.

Blaze played this just right so now Luke is all for her idea, thinking it's his.
I love the humor in this chapter about the fireproof shoes and all.
Entertaining and fun.

Thank you so much, Nancy. Luke is always good for a laugh. He gives us a break from all the drama up on Earth. :)

He always claims they were HIS ideas all along. Doesn't every politician? The news just makes me sick.

Great chapter, my friend. I'm glad to be back with the story. Take care~Debbie

Thank you so much, Debbie. You're right about politicians. What a bunch of liars and thieves! We'd be better off emptying COngress and giving the seats to ordinary Americans who were willing to do the job for 1/4 the pay. They would be far better.

Oh, great! Luke is falling for Blaze's plan. She even pretends not to like the idea of marrying Theo, but if it's to get to Rome and find Blake, she'll make the sacrifice. love the business with Luke's claws and fireproofing the feet of his suit. This is clever. Luke's so caught up in Blaze's plan, he even tells her to get a move on! Great work. judi

Thanks, Judi. Luke loves to steal the ideas of others and pretend they were his, and Blaze knows that. He's too dumb to know they see right through him and use it to their advantage. :)

You're welcome. Most of Luke's underlings aren't as smart as Blaze. judi

Blaze seems to have got him, hooked and sunk for now. Though not sure how long Lucifer will fall into line, even unknowingly. Excellent writing, great detail as Blaze works her magic to give her some breathing space.
Thanks for sharing sis.

And the Academy Award for best supporting actress goes to Blaze. LOL Boy, does she know Lucifer. That girl convinced him it was his idea she marry Theo. I can't wait to see what Tara thinks. Exceptional read.

Yay! Loud applause for Blaze and for her shiny six-star award. She has tears in her eyes as she accepts Vergie's most generous trophy. And I thank you for both of us. :)

The advantage of having a dumb boss gives Blaze the upper hand and life(so far) she wants to live. The dialogue exchange is hilarious and smart.

Thanks so much for reading. Glad you enjoyed the antics of Luke, the most arrogant buffoon there is. :)

Very clever how she got Luke turned around by diverting his attention from the issue onto the problem with his costume. Love the part where she watches him shrivel. Your dialogue makes Blaze's plan clear and feasible. With Luke's approval it looks like clear speeding ahead.

Well, that went well. Now if Like always remembers it that way. Are you going to start introducing another female demon who will step into Blaze's shoes when she's redeemed?

Thank you, Carolyn. No more demons. This is the third and final book of the trilogy. I'll write some short stories about Luke and his demons later, though. I MAY add a new book if I get in the mood again, but not for a while. :)

That inflated robo-suit must have a lot of air in the head. Does Luke's suit by any chance have blonde hair ( how do you like that, a blonde joke and a pun- airhead- in the same sentence). Luke is such a moron to be fooled so easily.
