In a book, Lucifer can be all three stooges wrapped in to one. From personal experience, I give him more credit than that. This is very well written. Good job

Thank you very much, Charlie. To see Luke at his bumbling best, read the next chapter to see why his foot is on fire and what he says and does. THAT is the Devil I envision. I can't believe he's not stupid. He has to be stupid if he rebelled against God, his own creator, thinking he could WIN! And he had a great life as an angel. Why be so power hungry? Just plain stupid. So MY version of Hell in these books shows Lucifer the way I see him... someone to laugh at, not to take seriously, unless you're condemned to Hell, of course. But humans need not fear him. We just have to say NO! I am NOT interested in doing evil like you. Go away!

If you feel that the devil has affected you, of course your viewpoint is different from mine. But this is just a story, one that makes fun of the devil and makes God the true hero. It's not meant to match reality. No one really knows what Heaven or Hell is like. I just made it all up. :)

I fear no entity, nor do I give any say so in my life. You're welcome, Phyllis. Charlie

the slime-ball senator -- aren't they all???

Great chapter. Sorry to have been so far behind. I am at the doctors if I'm not in the hospital. I am physically a mess and so very tired of it--You know. Hope you are well. Take care, my friend~Debbie

Thank you so much, Debbie. I pray for you every day, wanting some doctor somewhere to do something RIGHT for a change. No one should have to suffer as you have, mostly from incompetence and lack of caring. I got very lucky. Found a new doctor, two, in fact. They are BOTH superb and really take their time with patients, even if it means fewer patients and less money. I didn't know such doctors still existed, but they do. I hope you can find one. I really do.

ANOTHER FANTASTIC CHAPTER, PHYLLIS. BLAZE MADE HER STORY SO BELIEVABLE, BUT THEN AGAIN LUKE IS NOTHING BUT A FOOL, HE BELIEVES JUST ABOUT ANYTHING THAT SOUNDS LIKE BAD NEWS FOR OTHERS.

Thank you so much, Vergie. Glad you enjoyed it. I firmly believe the Devil must be stupid. No smart angel would rebel against God in the first place! :)

The focus Blaze going down to hell. The storyline development Blaze goes to hell to tell Lucifer information on Gary and Theo. Gary who maybe having extra marital relationship and Theo who maybe laundering money. His brother maybe able to help them at the Vatican.
The hook will Blaze's plan keep Lucifer off her back?
The suspense carries throughout the chapter.
The dialogue is clear and shows more of Lucifer's character. The narrative shows the action Lucifer's foot on fire.
Keep on writing.

Phyllis, have a great week, next week we'll be in the thirties. Walk in the shadow of our Lord. *o* Rita

Thanks so much, Rita. We've been at 20 degrees below normal for a few weeks, and the weatherman promises it will warm up every weekend, but it never does. Finally, snow, ice AND THEN RAIN tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it. LOL!

This hue can think on her feet. Luke is not on her level . The way she takes a dangerous situation and turns it to her advantage as far as Luke is concern is awesome. By the way, speaking of the Sentor , why hasn't his father come to Blaze for help or suspect sheight have something to do with his disappearing?

Thank you, Muffins. Blake's father has no reason to suspect Blaze. I'm sure both he and the cops asked her about him, since she was the last person to see him. But all she had to do was say he dropped her off and left. They have no evidence to say otherwise.

That's quite a lie but i fear it will only hold Luke back for so long. She better get some holy protection on her side. maybe it gives Tara and Franny time to change her.

Exactly. It will give her time, and if she does the right thing, she'll be okay. If not, or if it's too little, too late, she'll have to deal with Luke again. Thanks so much, Carolyn. It's great to have you as a reader. :)

Oh, this is great! I was wondering how Blaze was going to handle things with Luke, but she got really creative. She claims that Theo is assisting her, and that his brother has infiltrated the Vatican. Blaze tells Luke that there's reason to believe Blake is hiding out in Italy. I love Luke's speculation about what would happen to one of his agents if caught in the Vatican--torture by holy water! Highly imaginative. Are we taking a trip to Rome? judi

Thanks so much, Judi. THey will have to honeymoon in Rome. It's about sixty degrees there this time of yesr, so it should be a nice trip. I don't think we'll spend too much time with them, but one night for sure. :)

You're very welcome. That was a brilliant cover story Blaze came up with. And Luke bought it. He does seem short of reliable help lately. judi

Good, natural sounding dialogue in this chapter. Now I am waiting to see what unfolds next. I'm off to read the next continuation....

Oh my!! It looks like Blazes plan will work. I like it so far. Poor Luke is too stupid to know what's really going on. I am a tiny bit feeling sorry for him. LOL

Thanks, Barbara. I know he seems pathetic, but if he threw her into the pit, you would feel verrrry differently. He's not one to mess with, but Blaze knows him well enough to trick him. She hopes. :)

I love the perception of Luke that the Vatican is filled with "torture" devices. Hahaha. Enough Holy Water to fry one to a crisp. He probably thinks they have Olympic size swimming pools full of it! They could get married and hide out there with Theo's "brother". He still has that fifth grader's innocence wondering if Ginger "likes" him maybe. Ha! Great stuff. mikey

Thanks, again. LOL! An Olympic size pool! Why not? I'm sure the Pope would like a refreshing, and blessed, swim now and then. :)
