Hi Patricia, this is a nice prayer poem. I think this would have made a good triolet poem. Have you ever tried that form? they are fun and work well in faith poems.

Thanks for the review, Teresa. I have written a couple of triolets, but it is not my favorite form. I am finding I am just liking free verse the most . I used to rhyme a lot and can still rhyme and do on occasion.

I look forward to reading it. I may post another chapter of book tonight. I have been fixing the last 2 chapters, after all the suggestions I am getting. This writing a book thing is hard!

This a prayer of supplication. The Lord is always on time; His time is not our time.It's good to depend on the Lord , He never disappoints us. The picture used is a good match for your poem. When we receive His blessings we should share with others.

Thanks Meggie for the nice review. I was indeed written as a prayer for provision as I have waited a long time for the blessing of healing for my vision. The left eye is now better than it has been in 5 years, but the right eye is not as well.

Sorry to hear about your eyes. I do not how you can write. Is it cataracts or glaucoma. An operation messed up my left eye.

I have suffered for almost 6 years with macular degeneration and just had surgery on both eyes for cataracts right eye Jan 7th left eye Feb 19

There is some kind of machine to help with macular degeneration . You review and write and that has to be hard on them . Do not try to force your eyes .

I do read and review quite a lot, but through the day I will take an hour every 3 hours and completely rest my eye and even sleep a bit.

I know He wants me to write and share, so I trust Him to care for my eyes. he has saved my sight to this point, 6 years ago I could not see a persons face with my left eye, it was just as black blank spot, now with treatment I can see the pupils in a persons eyes with the left eye. The right eye had a hole in the macula and they tried to fill it, but I still have a bit of a wave in the center field of vision in the eye.
