Great discussion. You put forth the points of discussion and let them discuss. No one should have a problem with that unless they are seeking one. I can see this heating up along with her growing tummy. Never saw this coming!! mikey

Thanks again. Eight (that's one fourth of all reviewers) readers guessed she was pregnant. Mostly women, of course, but I was still impressed. :)

OH so good. I really liked this scene. I never in a million years did I expect Blaze to get pregnant. You pulled a good one there. I am wondering who the baby is? The senator?

Thank you so verrry much for the six stars, Barbara. Glad you enjoyed the surprise. Yes, it's Senator Sebastian's Blake's baby. She had a very brief affair with him after helping to get him out of the mental hospital. Now, of course, he's there again, but this time looking like a crazy clown. :)

You've presented some serious philosophical points in this chapter Phyllis, and done so with great aplomb. I've sometimes wondered where the souls all are as the world's population burgeons. Is it a finite number? Then I arrived at the conclusion (wrong or right) there is only soul, and every single person gets part of it.
Wonderful job dealing with a significant point of contention. Your characters handled it admirably.

Thank you, so much, Gloria. Your idea sounds like an Eastern one, where everything and everyone is connected. Maybe if more people thought that, the world would be a more peaceful place. :)
-
Well otherwise where are all these souls from? Perhaps we are encountering such horrific times, because the really bad souls that needed a lot of redemption are being recycled as our populations increase.
-
If God can make one soul, he can make as many as needed. Or maybe he only made so many, and when they're used up, the world ends. We have NO IDEA about any of this. It's all guessing. There may not even be a soul. There may not even be a God. All we have is a feeling, faith, belief without hard evidence. Some things are like that.

I wonder if she will be bale to pull it off - and can having a child make her have empathy again? Im sure she must have had it as an angel

This is written so well, and I was amazed at what you wrote about abortion. And your author notes also explained so well how you felt, so that an uproar wouldn't occur. I believe it for sure. But others may not. I thought this was one of your best writings. Drew xx

Wow, a second six star rating! On a Friday, no less! I could hug you, Drew. I seldom have any left by now. I'm honored that you saw fit to award two of yours to my story. THANK YOU! :)

let's see what you are up to now. Love the contrasting thoughts you put in your notes and leave us to wonder which way she will decide. Somehow I feel that Luke is going to lose another demon.

Thanks again, Erica. She has decided to keep it, for now, anyway. THings may change, just as in real life. And Luke WILL find out. That's when things get messy. As if they're not messy enough. I actually feel sorry for my own demon character! LOL! :)

I'm glad to see Blaze taking Tara's advice - she's moving toward
the good side and that is satisfying to the reader. It may take some time though
as I'm sure there are problems and lots of tension ahead.
Great dialogue.

Thank you so much, Nancy. Glad the dialogue worked for you. It was a touchy scene... took a while to write.

What a fantastic chapter. I am glad Blaze decided to listen to Tara. The right to life is a personal choice just as any decisions a person makes in life. Thanks for a wonderful read.

This is difficult to review without entering into the abortion debate. Legislators in some states have gone too far in restricting access, some not even willing to consider abortion in cases of rape, incest, the health of the mother or severe birth defects.

Thanks, Ed. I added the notes purposely to AVOID debate. We aren't going to find any answers. People will never agree. I have my thoughts and you have yours and everyone else has theirs. I say leave it at that. If citizens of a state don't like the laws, they can vote the idiots out. Or go to another state for the procedure.

Hi Phyllis,
This is very nice. It is a well written chapter. I really enjoyed reading it. You are so good at writing books. I wish I had even a tiny bit of your talent. I'm doing good if I can get a poem out every four days. I go to see a doctor on Monday, so hopefully I'll find out why I have daily headaches and am getting so forgetful.

Thanks, Kat. I'm so glad you're going to a doctor. I hope he is a new one who can figure it out. I'll be thinking about you. :)

Hi Phyllis,
She's a nurse, but I've heard she was trained by a great doctor. He's in Duluth so I don't want to drive there especially in the winter, when the roads can be slippery. Thanks for caring!
