You must have been so worried with her so far away and in such a risky business. When one of your kids is so determined to walk a path you feel could be dangerous and disappointing, it is hard to remain quiet and let them spread their own wings. I'm anxious to read what you did to jeopardize her new love life.

I just posted it now. I guess I didn't worry because she was following the same path I wanted to go, but my parents didn't encourage it.

Hmm... now I'm wondering what you did to poor Jeff. SOunds like she knew what she wanted if she loved being on stage. Most people hate it, so she's a natural performer. Hurry up with the second half, please. :)

Second half posted now. She really wanted to be on Broadway, but NYC was too expensive and more scary than CA.

Finally get to meet your daughter. Meeting the parents is always tough. Only after six months. that seems kind fast in my book, but what do nuns know. I'm sensing fireworks are about to be set off... Staying tuned...

Six months is slow in today's world according to movies anyway. Heck, they have sex on the first date. I'm betting my daughter knew better than that.

Oh I am glad you put this in two halves...I think I see where it might be going...that first love and moms don't often mix..I told my daughter that if she married one guy she dated she'd have to dragme down the aisle and I'd be yelling NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
