The focus Father Murphy's feelings about Blaze. The storyline development Gary wants Blaze to stop being friends with Tara. He explains to her what Father Murphy feels about their friendship. Blaze tells him he can tell Lucifer, who would send her to a death and could hurt him or his child.
The Hook will Gary realize Blaze will never hurt Tara?
The dialogue is clear and has given the reader a new mental picture of Tara and Blaze. The narrative shows the action, Gary pushing away from the table.
Keep on writing.

it's good that Blaze set Gary straight on her
relationship with Tara. Great bit of dialogue that
reminds your readers about their friendship and how
long they've known each other.

Even from the last story, I've never liked Gary much. He is too good, and godly. Also, this chapter shows his meekness as a man. Well done, Blaze put him in his place and punked him.

LOL! A man's honest point of view on a male character written by a female author. THat's fair. I often criticize how men write female characters. But you have a point. Gary is a "nice" man. However, he did beat up Winston in the last book, so he has it in him. He won't beat up a woman, tho, even if he would have liked to. LOL! Thanks for an interesting review. :)

Hi Again, continuing on ...this too is well penned. A kind of recap as Blaze walks through the steps with Gary. Nice strong developments between them ....and the story line, past and present. Again smooth read, and great addition....Blaze seems to be trying....
Thanks for sharing,
Maureen

If Blaze doesn't remember, then how does she know she wasn't suckered along with Ginger? I they were friends, maybe they were together. I don't think either of them ever wanted to be demons. They were sucked in by the ultimate con artist. I like to think there's always hope.

Hi Phyllis,
Is that true about the leaves being poisonous?
Considering Blaze is a demon, I find it rather close minded of her to not believe in witches, lol.
This is a good recap of their relationship. Very believable dialogue and perfect details and description to make it flow.
Hugs,
Lou

Thanks, Lou. Yes, it's true about tomato leaves. Don't tell me you've been making salads from them all this time? LOL! :)
-
LOL - No, but if I ever want to do away with someone, I'll plant a vegetable garden.
-
LOL! Don't forget to include monkshood. Pretty blue flowers... who would suspect? I have two of them hiding in a corner. Muahahaaa...

Very interesting about the tomato. I didn't know the leaves are poisonous but I had heard some parts of Europe was afraid to eat them.
Gary's heart to heart will change some of the dynamics. But it needed to know.

Thanks, Carolyn. He understands the situation now and they'll be fine. Sometimes you just have to COMMUNICATE. :)

A clever way to summarize the main events in this chapter for the sake of new comers and others who may have forgotten. Good too that you've made the stakes high for both Blaze and Gary, each with an inner conflict.

Thanks, Shari. That's a good point. Blaze did sum things up pretty well by telling Gary about it. :)
I think I'll release the next chapter now while folks are still awake. It's the BIG ONE. :)

Hi Phyllis,
I love this chapter. I'm glad Blaze got to talk to Gary and could tell him a few things about his wife and herself. He seemed to understand a little better. You did a great job in writing this. I think Blaze will get to be an angel again or at least go back to heaven.

Thanks a million for the six stars, Kat. I'm so glad you enjoyed this scene. I think Blaze and Gary will get along better now that he understands why Tara and she are so close. :)

I think Blaze and Gary will get along better too.

Glad I had a sixer for this one. I understand Gary's concern about Blaze, especially if Father Murphy is concerned. But I think it goes to show that we humans don't always understand God's way of working in other people's lives; Blaze does a good job of setting Gary straight and she is right, she is no where as bad as Ginger was in the beginning. lol

Thanks a million for the sixer and words of encouragement. I was planning originally NOT to save her, but just to let her live on Earth safely, but eveyone (ceven me) wanted her saved. It will be a lot harder for Blaze though. :)
