good alliteration in come/carousel
I like the vivid detail of the actual carousel and the metaphor also
infectiously enthusiastic delivery as you return smoothly to the original two syllable line

In my opinion this poem meets the required amount of the syllable counts for each line as per a rictameter. It flows very effectively. The subject manner evokes memories of childhood fairs. This could be a good children's poem. You have done well.
