Thank you, Michael, for taking the time to validate this man's existence in this writing. We all fail in one way or another, and disappoint others who feel they have been given the right to judge. The older I get the more I am convinced that I have no right to judge another. That doesn't mean I don't try to help someone I see is wasting their life, but there is just so much I can do. The rest is up to that person.

Bob is going to be buried in a pauper's grave probably with no one to morn his passing. In all seriousness, you have done him a great service with the gift of words as now, I seem to know him, your portrait warts and all with an emphasis on the good. There is now a written face behind the name and many of us reading your words. You have given him a memorial service. Very moving, very noble of you (seriously!).

I think this is the right thing to do, also, mikey. It was kind of you to write a tribute to his life and passing. Like always, the writing is superb and enjoyable to read. Thanks for posting.
