Hi Phyllis,

That Franny creeps Blaze out is actually more poignant than you may have intended.

I'm reminded of a Broadway show "The Man of La Mancha" wherein the whore sings that she can take abuse but can't handle tenderness. Anyway, that's what came to my mind when I read this chapter because Franny is on the side of good.

Thank you, Brooke. Franny would creep me out, too. To think someone was always watching me and could read my mind, too. And you can't even kill her because she's already dead! I'd rather be chased by zombies. LOL!

I'm pretty sure any human being would be in a state if they saw an angel for the first time, especially if the only other existence they comprehend is hell. Great scene setting with the waste paper basket being deodorised the first time but not the second. Let's just hope Ginger can give her the advice she needs.

I knew it was Franny, some strange goings on with her turning up, and Tara praying for her, I'm glad this is a story, I forget about my theological, so I become disengaged from my knowledge, I prefer the way you look at it! Thanks, Roy. Blaze has the rough edges of Hell, but she's good to her friends. Maybe seeing Lucifer for the fool he is has already caused her to lose whatever "faith" she once had in him. People often side with the wrong candidate for office, then find out he lies and is just using his naive voters to get power. The young and uninformed are especially prone to make such mistakes. I see Blaze as someone like that, who has learned her lesson, but it's too late to go back and make the right choice. We all have to live with our choices, so make them wiht careful consideration. She has a lesson to teach readers, I think.

Now that is brilliant! Yes, I am sure Blaze will eventually get God's forgiveness. Her time on Earth so far has proved she has a kind heart, and just like Tara, she will become even nicer as time goes by. The darker side of her will start to disappear. She has never really liked Luke, in fact she hates him, that has to be a good sign.

I read that about Hell too. It was like a ladder to Heaven, depending on the way you lived your life was dependent on which step you were on. Right at the bottom of the ladder was the 'grey' area, where God couldn't or wouldn't hear you ever. The upper rungs, you can work your way up to the top.

Yep, you got it. Ed, you are a guy, yet you figured it out. That's why I needed to edit the book to put a few weeks between her affair with the senator and present time. I had thought I had enough to fill another two weeks, but I've cut a lot out since the book is already 54K words. So I went back and added those few sentences. Not hard to fix. Keep in mind this is a first draft, written day by day as I post it. I'll go over the final cope twice before publishing, and there will be some changes. There are always some things that could be improved.

Is Blaze's human's body pregnant? Just seems odd she is puking her guts out over a fright from Franny. That would be a twist and a half, is it Blakes baby or Theo's. It's kind of too soon for it to be Theo's and her to have morning sickness from it, though.
