Great alliteration in sheds a swathe of sunburnt skin. Great imagery throughout but I especially liked sleepy lizard edges.

Tony: creative gathering of words to describe a summer day in a very hot climate. Your thoughts are clear and I could picture the creatures searching for a bit of shade and waiting until nightfall for a respite from the heat. Beautiful poem; great writing. Linda
